It’s a sad commentary on the Republican Party that strong women are leading the battle for conservatism. I’ve got nothing against strong women by the way. I just wish more men would join the fray. Republicans in office generally leave a lot to be desired, Representative Bachmann and a handful of others being the exception.
It might be easier for a woman to take a strong stand at this particular moment in history since we are also a somewhat ‘protected’ subset of human beings.
