Every Democratic politician since Lyndon Baines Johnson has had this fear.
It was like a hurricane hitting New Orleans. They kind of hoped it wouldn’t happen. but it is funny how fate works. Any fool in our political system might think they could be a great President. Just like any Junior High football star thinks he could play in the NFL. Try catching a punt on a Sunday afternoon a bunch of 300 pound monsters bearing down on you quick. Or being a quarterback trying to read the Pittsburgh defense. It takes a special kind of a person. Not everyone can do. and many very GOOD football players never make. It is like that with being President. you have to have courage and conviction.
It is pretty clear. Barack Obama was never ready to be President.
Good points all, but it’s not even a question of readiness. Obama hates the country he now leads. He could have had a resume longer than GHW Bush and it wouldn’t matter. He should not be President of the United States. It’s like putting Xaviera Hollander in charge of a nunnery: just plain wrong.
He was GIVEN a degree he didn't earn because of the color of his skin.
