I am not sure what "we" you are referring or what "facts" you are referring.

As for Beck, I don't follow someone that is neither a conservative nor a Republican. The Beck drones seemingly blind shilling for him when he makes politically illogical statements just indicates for me the sad state the conservative movement is for true leadership. Just because Beck gets some issues right doesn't mean he is the new conservative voice to be followed. He gets quite a few issues wrong too, like his recent McCain statements. The drone-like following to Beck is disturbing.

i have been on a self-imposed media black-out for the last week so i am not really up on current events (feels pretty good).

but i will say this: Beck doesn't really feel the need to be labeled as conservative or republican. he just wants the USA to adhere to its founding principles, i.e. the DoL and the Constitution. i see nothing wrong with that.
