Critics Assail Obama's 'Safe Schools' Czar, Say He's Wrong Man for the Job
Critics say Kevin Jennings is too radical for the job of director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, citing what they say is his promotion of homosexuality in schools, his writings about his past drug abuse and his onetime contempt for religion.

President Obama's "safe schools czar" is a former schoolteacher who has advocated promoting homosexuality in schools, written about his past drug abuse, expressed his contempt for religion and detailed an incident in which he did not report an underage student who told him he was having sex with older men.
Conservatives are up in arms about the appointment of Kevin Jennings, Obama's director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, saying he is too radical for the job.
Jennings was appointed to the position largely because of his longtime record of working to end bullying and discrimination in schools.
In 1990, as a teacher in Massachusetts, he founded the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which now has over 40 chapters at schools nationwide. He has also published six books on gay rights and education, including one that describes his own experiences as a closeted gay student.

I guess schools are safer when he’s in an office in DC.
What does that say about the voters that elected this POS?
With this gang, I wonder what will be made safe in these safe schools. Kinda like gun free zones are actually target rich environments.
I thought that homosexuality was about consenting adults in private. That would mean that exposing minors to it in an advocacy role would be corrupting minors.

Jennings does not limit his promotion of homosexuality in schools only to high schools or middle schools. He wrote the foreword for a book titled Queering Elementary Education, which includes an essay declaring that “‘queerly raised’ children are agents” using “strategies of adaptation, negotiation, resistance, and subversion.”
Perhaps the most dramatic illustration, however, of Jennings’ unfitness for a “safe schools” post involves an incident when he taught at Concord Academy, a private boarding school in Massachusetts. In his book One Teacher in Ten (the title is based on the discredited myth, now abandoned even by “gay” activist groups, that ten percent of the population is homosexual), he tells about a young male sophomore, “Brewster,” who confessed to Jennings “his involvement with an older man he met in Boston.” But at a GLSEN rally in 2000, Jennings told a more explicit version of “Brewster’s” story. Jennings here quotes the boy and then comments: “‘I met someone in the bus station bathroom and I went home with him.’ High school sophomore, 15 years old. That was the only way he knew how to meet gay people.”
Did Jennings report this high-risk behavior to the authorities? To the school? To the boy’s parents? No -- he just told the boy, “I hope you knew to use a condom.”..."

They are, to a man, woman or, ehh... whatever - radical fringe kooks.

Yeah..I know. Too bad guys like Hannity and Beck never dare speakout about what is going on in our schools with the radical gay agenda. They seem to be very phony conservatives to me.
There are two topics the conservative talk hosts almost never talk about:
1) Homosexuality ( especially in the schools)
2) Obama’s eligibility

Great, I’ll accept their contributions as long as they’re useful.
Sometimes I’m not even sure if I trust Rush. But I get over it.
It takes a lot to build trust in this world. And rightly so.
There are schools in this nation that are so morally corrupt that it would be better for students never to step foot in them. This is true even if it meant the students remained illiterate and innumerate. ( I **seriously** mean it!)
Innumerate and illiterate can be corrected but spiritual damnation and emotional and psychological corruption may never be.
