Barack Obama shmoozes the UN, but America and Britain should leave this global crime syndicate

Obama’s surrender monkey antics are catching: Gordon Brown is using the same forum tomorrow to announce the reduction of Britain’s nuclear submarine fleet from four to three. The West is disarming at a speed that even our enemies are finding disconcerting. So long as West-hating exhibitionists such as Obama and Brown are in charge of our defences we are in real and present danger. It will all be cheered to the echo at the UN, the water-hole at which the world’s most spectacular genocides and tyrants have traditionally assembled to denounce the Western democracies.

In 2003, Libya was elected to chair the Commission, whose members included Algeria, China, Cuba, Sudan, Syria and Zimbabwe. The corruption at the UN would make a Sicilian godfather wrinkle his nose in distaste. The Oil-for-Food scandal netted $21bn for UN hoods and their associates, while the infant mortality rate in Iraq soared.

The United Nations is a sewer. Insofar as it has any purpose, it is to act as a template and foundation for eventual World Government – of the most corrupt and illiberal kind. Britain and America should withdraw from this murderous thieves’ kitchen and save both national integrity and taxpayers’ money.

And of a sort that is very familiar to most of the representatives of the General Assembly, hailing as they do from precisely such places. Try to imagine such a government with the entire resources of the United States at its disposal. It would be like giving an armored division to Al Capone.

Leave the UN?

No stay and sabotage it.
(1) There is no provision for throwing someone out who doesn't pay their dues. So just stop paying.
(2) Veto every measure before the security council. Doesn't matter what it is, just make it clear that we will veto everything so as to render the meetings pointless.
(3) Hire a comedian to be the UN ambassador. Just have Denis Miller go up there and rip on countries like Iran, Syria, Venezuela and any other country that jacks us around.
(4) Vote to move the UN to someplace that sucks. Like Zimbabwe, Afghanistan or Bikini Atoll. (5) Make it clear that the whole UN is a joke. Go the Caligula route and appoint a horse as a member of our delegation. Or appoint a bunch of chimps as our delegation and just have them fling poo at Qaddafi when he talks for an hour and a half.
