The bulk of this speech is what zer0 SHOULD have given at the UN today. But no.. he chooses to blast the USA instead. That’s OK, zer0. Any complimentary words about America passing from between your blue lips wouldn’t be genuine anyway.

An incredible contrast between the two.

Make it viral, make it kudzu, keep it coming, keep it going...just keep it up and it can’t be stopped. You are the candidate, you won’t be stopped. Keep your feet on the ground and surround yourself by not yet men, but folks who will help you keep your feet on the ground and you can lead this country.

Notice the difference, Sarah goes to Hong Kong and praises America, praises our US Military. On the other hand, Obama today speaks to the UN and throws our strongest ally, Israel, under the bus

For a speech that was supposed to be closed to the press, it sure found its way to the NY Slimes, Anti-Palin (AP), Time, and WSJ.

It looks like Palin is going to do one social engagement per month. Next month, Palin will have dinner with the winner of the Wounded Warriors charity.

Speaker of the House Pelosi, Defense Subcommittee Chairman Murtha, the Senate Armed Services Committee Chair, and many others, recently expressed doubts about sending additional forces! President Obama will face a decision soon when the U.S. Commander in Afghanistan requests additional forces to implement his new counterinsurgency strategy.

We can win in Afghanistan by helping the Afghans build a stable representative state able to defend itself. And we must do what it takes to prevail. The stakes are very high. Last year, in the midst of the U.S. debate over what do to in Iraq, an important voice was heard – from Asia’s Wise Man, former Singaporean Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew, who wrote in the Washington Post about the cost of retreat in Iraq. In that article, he prophetically addressed the stakes in Afghanistan. He wrote:

“The Taliban is again gathering strength, and a Taliban victory in Afghanistan or Pakistan would reverberate throughout the Muslim world. It would influence the grand debate among Muslims on the future of Islam. A severely retrograde form of Islam would be seen to have defeated modernity twice: first the Soviet Union, then the United States. There would be profound consequences, especially in the campaign against terrorism.”

Utterly brilliant.
Mrs Palin stands at the vanguard of Reagan-conservatism and Jeffersonian republicanism.
Anyone doubting this lady should be our next President is truly naive or disingenuous.

Excellent speech. Far better then the excerpts we have had from the media. Good idea posting, hope Palin makes available more segments as well.

Compare and contrast Palin’s speech to our President's. Sadly one is more patriotic than the other.

Greta just interviewed WSJ, I think Asian correspondent. Said Sarah was well received, generated lots of media. Local media staked out hotel, followed her to airport this morning. Serious speech, harder on China than obama administration. Didn’t mention bambi by name but spoke against trade war with China, bailouts, etc.

I think it’s awesome how she is followed around in Hong Kong by their press everywhere she goes. How cool is that! Show me anyone else that goes to a foreign country and gets that kind of coverage. but but, according to the media, she is irrelevant, yet they followed her to Hong Kong and stood outside the door waiting to hear anything she had to say.

The tea party section was great. Gov. Palin has the pulse of the country. Don’t flame me but the China parts had some Nixon in it as well as Reagan.
