In his new book, "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage," best-selling celebrity journalist Christopher Andersen has blown a huge hole in the Obama genius myth without intending to do so.
In the way of background, I had first advanced the thesis that Bill Ayers played a major role in the writing of Obama's much acclaimed 1995 memoir, "Dreams From My Father," in WorldNetDaily more than a year ago. (See extensive list of columns below.)
Relying on inside sources, quite possibly Michelle Obama herself, Andersen describes how "Dreams" came to be published, and it is just as I envisioned it.

Obama voted present on writing his book. And how does one get a $150,000 advance for a book as a private citizen? Something doesn’t add up there!

One thing we feel almost certain that Obama had a direct hand in writing was his own inaugural address — and it was terrible.
Of course Obama didn’t write “Dreams”. He doesn’t possess the intellect or skill. As they say in Texas, “All hat. No cattle.”

I have heard that there is software that can compare certain writings to others to see how they correlate (style, phrases, sentence constructs, etc.).
It would be interesting to see how Ayres’ writings correlate to Obama’s writings.
You’re absolutely correct that something doesn’t add up there. I have read a thesis that often a “book advance” is a form of CIA funding, and that Ayers, son of Con Edison CEO Thomas Ayers, was a left-wing asset of the CIA.

I kinda doubt that, that the First Beeyotch would reveal anything even remotely suggesting a departure from the official story that got she and her fraud of a husband to the positions they now occupy.
We discussed this on a thread yesterday, and Christopher Andersen is currently being interviewed, and being coyly
non-judgmental about what he knows to be the truth: that Obama had major help from this guy who just lived in the neighborhood, who he didn’t really know very well, Bill Ayers. The dismissive nonchalance of the way Obama handled the relationship couldn’t help but remind me of a smiling Clinton lying to the MSM that Gennifer Flowers was just a
“friendly acquaintance”. NOW, what to do with this story? Will Christopher Andersen be interviewed anywhere else, besides FOX, where the pertinent question of authorship will come up? Very doubtful. THe MSM may steer away from him altogether out of fear that they’ll be obligated to deal with more than the inconsequential puffery that probably
constitutes most of the book’s content.
BUT THIS STORY IS BIG, EVEN NOW, NOT ON THE LEVEL OF THE O’Keefe/Giles/ACORN story, but something that can and should be brought up, in the ongoing project of administering to Obama his well-deserved “thousand cuts”. It is the cumulative negativity, ALL OF IT HIS OWN DOING, that will snowball, albeit VERY slowly, and finally neutralize and marginalize him and his band of rogues, knaves, and wannabe Marxist Social Engineers and Demagogues. I am doing my part to make that happen.
I don’t mean to downplay this, especially since i have long believed Ayers wrote much if not all of the Obama book(s), but how credible is this author? Will the left be able to say that he is just a gossip monger, a hack? To say that he is just hacking his way into a controversy in order to boost his sales?
Just goes to show he is nothing but a figure head that was installed by the people behind him.
