My fear is that this kind of "praise" and adulation is indeed happening on a regular basis.
It shouldn't happen anytime and Black History Month is no excuse. It will be unauthorized to report this activity.
So are you parents of these children happy about them singing songs of devotion to help sell someone's book?
How about the children being taught to worship at the altar of bambi? Is that okay with you?
Bet it was great to see your children being posted on youtube...was that okay too?
