“Yeah, Bush didn’t do much except for the part about preventing demon possessed Muslim savages from slitting your throat ear-to-ear as you watched them gang your wife.”

We all remember his steadfast support of border security and his efforts to limit Muslim immigration into the United States. His great speeches demanding the Muslim world to reform and admit that Islam is what drives the jihad. His efforts to end PC in the executive branch and to remove onerous ROEs that allow JAG officers to railroad men for fighting the war are to be lauded. His tireless efforts to end CAIR will be remembered. His efforts to counter the Saudis. His statements opposing the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Oh, wait. He did none of that. In fact, he did the opposite of that. It doesn’t help to “fight them over there” if you invite them in over here.

30,000 or so Americans died due to illegal aliens during his term in office. Uncounted molestations and rapes too. That ignores all the theft and fraud. So much for keeping us safe.

He was quite conservative on some things, but not on all things. It would be hard to find examples on the social issues where he was anything but strongly conservative.

I would agree he was a good man and a social conservative in his personal and family life, and that's a big plus.

My complaint is that he did not promote conservative policy much outside of example.

For example:

Amendment I - Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This means, according to Rats, that career criminal anarchists, AKA disadvantaged people, can shut down cities, loot and vandalize businesses, and assault taxpayers because they don't like the G7, 8 or 20 or whatever with impunity, but it is a major felony for a pro life minister of an established religion, to be present on the public sidewalk in front of an abortion mill that receives taxpayer funds from the government.

A socially conservative president that led, would have flipped that Rat policy as quickly as Eisenhower flipped the policy of the Rat thug city of Little Rock, Arkansas, and used the same means if necessary.

Since rabscuttle is a RonPaulBot

I think he is. Better that than a Bushbot.

Matt Latimer most likely a lib,

Yeah probably. That's why he worked for a Republican congressman, a couple Republican Senators, Rumsfeld and Bush. He knew he was such a bad speechwriter than he worked for the party he was against just to hurt them.

you and your opinions are known by the company you keep.

Me and my opinions? You wanna know my opinions?

Bush: RINO dog who kneecapped the Republican party and sold conservatism down the river.

Ron Paul: I hate most of his foreign policy views. Not that I'm a neoconservative though, I was a few years ago but not anymore. I don't ascribe to either foreign policy extreme. I probably agree with him on 95% of the other issues. It's a shame, if only he didn't see eye to eye with Kookcinich on a few issues then I would have voted for him.

Latimer: Well he's selling a book so of course some of his story might be pulled straight out his butt but his allegations certainly aren't implausible. I don't feel like giving President Bush the benefit of the doubt on being for cap and trade or saying that there "is no conservative movement". He can defend himself if he so chooses. And I don't think Latimer is a "lib". Though it's certainly possible since Bush liked to appoint libs to such posts as US Treasury Secretary.

Rabscuttle: Nice fellow, pings me to stuff.

More lies from this scumbag.

Of course the Perpetually Peeved and Perfectly Pure Posse lap up the Kool-aid.

If I were a betting man I would bet good money that if Palin is president and doesn’t return this country to its roots with a snap of a finger, the PPPPP will start tearing into her.

With supporters like these, who the hell wants to fight for the conservative cause?

When did Bush fight for the conservative cause? He’s from the liberal side of the Republican Party. Like his Dad.
