Federal prosecutors say two North Carolina terrorism suspects plotted to kill U.S. military personnel.
A superseding indictment returned Thursday against Daniel Patrick Boyd and Hysen Sherifi is the first time authorities have said the men had specific targets. Prosecutors said Boyd obtained maps of Virginia's Marine Corps Base Quantico in order to plan an attack.
Prosecutors have previously said the man went on training expeditions in the weeks leading up to their arrests in July, practicing military tactics with armor-piercing bullets on a property in rural North Carolina.
Seven men are awaiting trial in the case, and investigators say an eighth suspect is believed to be in Pakistan.
That is scary.
Maps...lol Were they courtesy of the USGS?
Oh, I don’t know. If you wanted to blow up a military base and harm a lot of people, a map showing where they store the munitions might come in handy.
I am sensing an uptick in Islamic terror activity. (I know it is an understatement)
What is this, about the fourth separate story (on FR of course, not MSM) about a terror plan in some stage of development that was stopped?
“... about the fourth separate story (on FR of course, not MSM)...”
That is, stories TODAY.
Well, they are at war with us regardless what we may think.
Cheers!
“...regardless what we may think”
Regardless of what the mindless Obama voters may think.
I am beginning to wonder if that video was a call for all the Islamic sleeper cells in the US to activate: (notice how many include Caucasians).
NO cheers, unfortunately.
