By the way, “Italy” is pronounced “It-lee”.
When I hear "Italy, TX", I immediately thought of this:
This particular structure is adjacent to Interstate 35, with smaller dome homes behind it.
There's also this at a nearby intersection: (when it was open):
Now, it's closed:
I hadn't driven by there for a while, but I think it closed about the time that the Texas Smokehouse (where the alleged perpetrator worked) opened about a block away.
Prayers up for the agents who arrested him - O’Bumma will probably have ‘em in chains before the week’s end.
I'm sure he'd understand the gallows when he sees one.
When are we going to change our foreign policy to prevent these kind of incidents? /s
My grandfather was the only doctor in Italy for years back during the late 40’s through the late 70’s. He used to take me with him making house calls out on some of the surrounding farms. He was an awesome man that was totally dedicated to his community. For decades he only took 3 days off per year. To go to Llano to deer hunt.
Italy has been swallowed up by Dallas, but when I was a kid, the biggest operation there was the cotton gin.
Dead eyes, like a dolls eyes...
A phenomenon I've seen before (and I'm certain others have seen as well.) Those are the eyes of someone who has, in one fashion or another, either immobilized, or destroyed that within themselves which we call the soul. While they look perfectly normal at first glance, it is only when you home in on their eyes that you know.
It is truly said, "the eyes are the window to the soul". Those whose eyes appear thus, are declaring in their "window", nobody home...

He and his brother in California, are in the U.S. illegally, which brings up numerous questions.
How did he get into the U.S.?
Did he fly in and over stay his visa?
Did he fly into Mexico and simply walk across the border, as millions of others have?
Who provided him with transportation, funds etc until he found a job and got settled?
It appears on the surface that their is some kind of support network in place. Do you suppose it originates in all of these mosques in the Dallas area?
