One of my favorite features of the Newseum in Washington, DC is the daily display of newspaper front pages from around the world. Today, Canadas National Post was a standout with Alex Spillius coverage of a clash between Presidents Obama and Sarkozy.

I think I liked America better when we were #1. Being a loser doesn’t set well with me.

Worth repeating:
No American newspapers seem to have featured Sarkozys justifiably derisive remarks about Obamas naivete regarding the realities of nuclear technology. Still we can be grateful for the freedom of the press, as embodied and celebrated by the Newseum including the chilling reconstruction of segments of the Berlin Wall. These serve as a reminder that however oppressive or myopic the powers-that-be, news cannot be stifled.

Sarkozy: President Obama dreams of a world without weapons
but right in front of us two countries are doing the exact opposite. Iran since 2005 has flouted five security council resolutions. North Korea has been defying council resolutions since 1993. I support the extended hand of the Americans, but what good has proposals for dialogue brought the international community? More uranium enrichment and declarations by the leaders of Iran to wipe a UN member state off the map, he continued, referring to Israel. I'm liking this guy. Carla chose with a good eye (after all, she had her pick of anyone).

I never thought I would see the day when a French President has bigger brass ones than our own.

Nope Zero went to Paris and while staying literally within view of Sarkzy’s residence, Zero pulled the same arrogant stunt (refusing to meet with) he just did on Gordon Brown.
Only Sarkozy is NOT Gordon Brown and he will not forget it.

He better watch out, he will get an Ipod filled with 0bama’s speeches. Oh, wait, that is what he gives an ally who had not said anything negative about the anointed one.
If he comes to the Whitehouse, Michelle will spit in his food.

Great stuff. It is amazing that I have not seen this reported anywhere. Goebbels had nothing on our press.
I hope at least that it gets covered on radio and on Fox. What Sarkozy said is spot on, and needs to be heard, not the fawning reaction to Obama's ridiculous platitudes.

I think the term “cheese eating surrender monkeys” has lost something with Sarkozy. Now...if you want to apply it to Zero....
