I am trying to imagine what motive corporations would have for killing poor people. It just doesn't compute. Not only is this woman an idiot for trying to make the argument but anyone that would listen to her do so is probably a few neurons short as well. How would a corporation make money killing poor people?

GE is writing the checks at PMSNBC so they can underwrite a lot of loss and make it up in sweet contracts abroad that they can wrangle from their support of Zero. For GE PMSNBC is just the propaganda arm of their larger enterprise.

It sure is difficult to decide if Rachel Maddow is a ‘pimp’ or a ‘hooker’ for the poor.

I wonder if our younger Freepers know that there was once a time when talking heads and entertainers had to have ratings in order to get the big bucks.

At least she's separating fools from their money making her a capitalist in the brand of Micheal Moore. I don't think she spends much time with leftist guilt over that.

Isn’t it amazing how these left wing stations can say things like that as a fact and get away with it? And the dumber then dumb audience believes it..............

NBC, GE, and Maddow do it for (and to) the children.

“Is that really something she wants to protect? “

Have you ever seen anyone who suddenly realized the party is over do something totally stupid to keep it going? Her job is on the line and she does the only thing a drunk knows to keep a party going; strips down naked (Yikes!) and chugs another one in an effort to liven things up. Reminds me of the Indiana Jones scene in the Himilayan bar where the dude passes out right after downing the last shot with the glass still in his hand.

The final straw for MSLSD will be far less graceful and delightful at the same time.

She’s still the San Francisco Lesbian Activist she was before her TV gig. Nothing surprising here.

Sorry, but shortly after MSNBC anounced massive pay raises for their on-air talent, GE was given your money as part of Obama’s bailout. Keith Obamann is now taxpayer-funded hatred.

“They do things like advocating for a higher minimum wage. They do things like helping low- income families file their taxes. They do things like helping low-income families find jobs. They do things like registering people to vote.”

“They do things They do things They do things” —— Anybody who uses the language like Sean Hannity can’t be all that bright.

They do things like, telling people to lie on their taxes. The do things like, telling you to lie on your federal application for a loan. They do things, like register Mickey Mouse etc to vote. They do things, like funnel tax payer money to for profit and, partisan organizations. Yeah, they do things, just mainly illegal!!!!

But Maddow rose to the defense of ACORN which she called a right-wing "bogeyman," crusading for them on her MSNBC show. She accused corporations of going into "kill mode" against the organization which helps "poor people."

Helps poor people scam the government.

If this administration were treated like the last, you'd be hearing about his report 24/7:

"An earthquake rocked Turkey today, and in other news, more Issa report revelations about the scandal-plagued Obama Administration!"

“They do things like, telling people to lie on their taxes. The do things like, telling you to lie on your federal application for a loan-—”

and that is just the piddly stuff....... we can’t let the pimp and ho story take center.

ACORN has been deep deep roots and many many ‘acorns’ scattered all around the world.

out of OUR President Obama’s mouth....

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military
in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Obama is not talking about Clinton’s AmeriCore ...

Corporations have helped to destroy our culture of traditional values and bribed our elected officials, thus corrupting our entire political process.

Most corporations, up until the 1970's, if you got a divorce, it was a pretty good chance that you'd be shown the door. While I'm sure there's 'evil' corporations, for the most part they share a lot of traditional values, of wanting a smaller government, of wanting less taxes, and less restrictions. Aside from the 'non-profit' political corporations who actively promote the liberal agenda, most corporations are conservative in nature.

Unfortunately, the thing that feeds the most on the corporation, is the thing that most wants to destroy traditional values, that being the union. And of everything, unions have tremendous political clout, being able not only to deliver bribes and kickbacks, but also votes. A few corporations might have wanted to offer benefits for domestic shacking up, but most didn't want to until forced by the unions to extend it to extremes, including homosexuals. Why? Because it costs corporations money.

Ironically, unions have also become one of the largest investing entities, so kill their own investments with their extraordinary demands.

They put their international interests ahead of what is good for America.

By far, corporations need stability to be most profitable. Do you think a corporation looks at putting a manufacturing plant in Mexico or Indonesia for stability? They do it because every time they build a successful plant or industry in the US, the unions kill it. They make it so unprofitable that relocating to another part of the world is desirable, and that takes quite an effort, especially since most of the rest of the world requires more than campaign contributions, but outright bribery of local police on up to the highest levels of government.

Corporations are bad for Main Street.

A generality that ignores that the most populous corporation is one that involves small business, and you'll find that corporations are the second most common business model for mom and pop businesses. Stop buying the liberal propaganda put forward by the socialist and opportunistic pariahs that are the unions.

MSNBC and msnbc.com were founded in 1996 by Microsoft and GE’s NBC unit.

MSNBC was created because NBC wanted into the news channel market, but GE was operating with limited funds, thus needing a partner, and Microsoft was facing tremendous pressure to buy a media company at the time. The compromise that made MSNBC was effectively abandoned by Microsoft was soon as it came into being. Microsoft wants to make money, and MSNBC will never make money on it's own.

All to spread lies and elect Obama.

Wow, you mean this whole thing I've been responding to has been parody? Because no one knew of the nobody that was Obama back when MSNBC was created. And if you're saying the Gates family wanted to put in rabid liberals, than you've pretty much ignored what the Gates family has done with their money. They know that private charity is more cost effective and productive than government involvement, and the vast majority of their pressure is on other well heeled families to put their money to use, and not leave it to the kids.

If you look at the leaders of the most successful corporations out there, they at least pretend to be examples of the nuclear family, and I would have a hard time naming a successful leader of a corporation who espouses and lives the deviant homosexual lifestyle. I don't have that problem with the Hollyweird contingent nor the 'entertainment industry' as a whole.

You're welcome to blame the corporations, but a corporation can't deliver votes, only money, and money they have to answer to their shareholders for, whereas unions can freely take from those they represent and give it away with near impunity.

Name one corporation that has stood for American values and/or against political corruption in the last 20-years.

Like the corporation that continues to pay Maddow despite her having such a small audience? Wouldn’t that be, at the top, GE ?
