Recent videos from two investigative reporters, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, with the help of Andrew Breitbart, showed that community-group ACORN engaging in scandalous practices. But MSNBC host Rachel Maddow argued Sept. 24 that wasn't the story that mattered.
ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, was hit hard by the videos showing employees giving tax avoidance advice to a "pimp" and "hooker."
But Maddow rose to the defense of ACORN which she called a right-wing "bogeyman," crusading for them on her MSNBC show. She accused corporations of going into "kill mode" against the organization which helps "poor people."

The local cable company took MSNBC away from its basic subscribers (yours truly). So I don’t have to watch or listen to that blantantly pro-Obama propaganda machine.

Considering the fact that they are losing viewers...not gaining...it means zero payraise for this year...amongst the entire team....which doesn’t affect Rachel much....but consider the long-term impact.
If every member of your support team is on a payscale related to your success and your viewers....then they will eventually come to pressure you in some fashion. They will hate their jobs enough...to make your life more miserable than it ought to be. So I think this spiral of MSNBC....has a hook to it...and is going to drag folks down eventually.
Corporations, vastly financed through union retirement investing, don’t want poor people. Poor people can’t buy their products, are more discerning in price, and typically won’t purchase the high value products that have the most profit.
To say that corporations want to attack ACORN because they help poor people is just to use the boogey-man excuse. The ‘evil corporation’ is against us, we have to stop them... We have to tax them! Whereas without corporations, millions of brainless liberals would be unemployed, their retirements wasted on commodity bets.
Heck, MSNBC wouldn’t exist, as were it not for the overall efficency of a corporation like NBC, they’d never be able to produce such a news channel. Whenever I hear a liberal go off on the corporations, I crow with glee, and say, so long Corporation for Public Broadcasting! Man, do they backpeddle quick on that.

Those “geniuses” who keep shelling out money as her ratings go further and further down the crapper.
Maddow’s argument might make some sense if she were to first admit that ACORN, Rainbow Push, etc. regularly extort money from big business and taxpayers in the name of “diversity,” “social justice,” or “racial discrimination.”

Corporations have helped to destroy our culture of traditional values and bribed our elected officials, thus corrupting our entire political process. They put their international interests ahead of what is good for America. Corporations are bad for Main Street.
MSNBC and msnbc.com were founded in 1996 by Microsoft and GE’s NBC unit. All to spread lies and elect Obama.
The communists are always “helping poor people,” usually the party elites who grab the power. It’s just ordinary people who benefit from the operation of markets that they hurt.
