The next wave of swine flu has arrived, and Mexicans are bracing for an outbreak that may be even larger than the one here last spring that became a pandemic.

Yeah. BORDER closings, that is. The parade of illegals will NOT be interrupted one whit.
The new Mexican flu strain will be north of the border before you can say wetback.
Good, now we will see how many die from the vaccine.
It already is, even up into northern Canadian Indian reserves, brought back from Mexico by Indian band chiefs and council returning from vacationing in Mexico, spending all that treaty money.
CDC is going to reverse course and agree with them probably say something stupid like “While test showed the Swine Flu to be milder than the typical influenza strains, it appears that many more people have contracted the H1N1 strain, with complication that our modeling didn't show.”
Then all the other blah, blah.
Oh, I was at the drug store yesterday and a real nice fellow came in asking about swine vaccination. He wanted to be sure he would be at the store when they have it.
Thing is they won't have it. The pharmacist said that your primary doctor would have it and they will be receiving doses by October 15th.
The man said he was 71 and wanted to be sure he was vaccinated. He turned to me and said something like “they always have the flu vaccine here”.
I informed that in fact they will be giving shots for the typical flu next Thursday and he said “Well, why don't they give the Swine Flu one too?”
I told him, sir you will not be getting the Swine Flu injection for a couple of reasons. He interrupted saying “Oh no, I am on Medicare and I am a veteran. They give us everything”.
I said that may be and you should definitely go to the VA in Palo Alto but, so you have information that can lead to better questions the government just released their assessment of who will get it and you are last on the list.
He said “No I am a Veteran”.
I said sir, first off, even if that is true, you won't get it if you take the regular flu shot. The CDC has determined that there are potential risks associated with having both the typical Flu shot and the Swine Flu shot.
They will be screening people and if they had the typical Flu shot, they will not deliver the Swine Flu Shot.
More importantly the reason you are last on the list is due to risk factors and who is more likely to get sick. Your age group is at the least risk.
They have set up a priority list based on age and current health complications.
The first people to receive the shots are going to be first responders, ambulance, hospital, fire and police.
The next group is pregnant women and children less than 6 months old.
After that, will be the age group of 6 months to 24 years old and then people 25 to 65.
He said “Nope, I am a Veteran and they take of us”.
I said “Sir, I really hope they do but that information came from the Centers for Disease Control”
“I could be wrong but now you have information that you can use to fight for what you believe you need” “Ask your doctor but that is the current information”.
He said “So you will be able to get the shot?”
I said “Nope, I am in the group, that is 4th in line and I won't be taking it anyway”.
He said “Why not?”
I said “I don't believe in it for a variety of reasons”
I had to leave but asked him to definitely confirm what I said with his doctor and at the VA. I also told that if he felt he needed this, that he should contact them today, to ensure he has the information he needs or to get on list ahead of others who will be doing this at the last minute.
