WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama is offering Iran "a serious, meaningful dialogue" over its disputed nuclear program, while warning Tehran of grave consequences from a united global front.

"Iran's leaders must now choose—they can live up to their responsibilities and achieve integration with the community of nations. Or they will face increased pressure and isolation, and deny opportunity to their own people," Obama said in his radio and Internet address Saturday.

Get ready for Anarchy. I am afraid we will not make it to the 2012 elections without open bloodshed. 2010 will be a squeaker time wise.

"Barack Obama is offering Iran "a serious, meaningful dialogue" over its disputed nuclear program, while warning Tehran of grave consequences from a united global front."

I'm sure those words are music to Ahmadinejad's ears. He knows darn well that Obama doesn't have the spine of a jellyfish. This is just an opportunity for him to give Obama (and America) a dressing down, and to gain more concessions from us.

Obama's going to blink, and Ahmadinejad knows it. "Grave consequences" my ass. Obama won't even let our soldiers shoot back at the terrorists we're fighting now.

If he keeps going like this, Obama’s foreign policy addresses have the potential to become the world’s first internationally syndicated multi-media hit reality comedy series.

Khamenei and Ahmedinajad are probably risking hernias from laughing so hard.

He’s ratcheting up the pressure. Next he will threaten strong condemnation, followed by, if necessary, extreme marginalization.

Obama blew it. He could have given Netanyahu’s speech at the U.N. meeting rather than his own rambling, pointless exercise in national self-immolation disguised as a speech.

We have known about this new reactor for months, if not longer. Instead of calling the Iranians out for it in the most public forum possible, his address to the U.N. general assembly, he used it to blame past U.S. policy for the bad relations we have with Iran. Later after the opportunity passed he called a news conference to reveal our discovery.

Benjamin Netanyahu instead gave the speech the U.S. president should have given, calling out the Iranian wacko and scolding all the nations that sat in the assembly and listened in earnest to the holocaust denier.

Then afterwards Ahmadinejad went on NPR to declare that Obama agrees with him, and so ‘there are no disagreements’. The sour relations are the fault of the U.S. alone.

Now we are back to square one, with Iran continuing to accelerate its nuclear program, with parallel development of ballistic missiles, the whole time denying they have ambitions to build nuclear weapons. At the same time they call for the destruction of Israel, deny the holocaust, and relish the coming of the 12th imam.

Israel must know that they are on their own in dealing with neutralizing the existential threat of Iran’s nuclear program. I only hope there are some patriots left within our intel community that will assist them in whatever way they can, before Israel can be vaporized by a nuclear weapon.

BO always uses the exact same phrases everytime he speaks. “Meaningful dialogue” is one of them. He’s such a lightweight and I love seeing him tested because he’s such a weakling. He’s paying someone back for buying his election for him.

He sounds no different than any other "pie-in-the-sky" doofus liberal, who think that "all we need is love", or if we just wish hard enough, we can make a utopia on earth.

He's been mis-educated all of his life about what America is, and who its people are. He knows less about the true nature of this country than our enemies, who are all laughing at his naivete, and neophyte ramblings.

I'm sure they're all sitting around thanking Allah for their incredible stroke of luck. They couldn't have asked for a weaker, more malleable person to be at the head of the one country that can actually stop their lunatic plans.

You called it. I'm afraid you are right. By the end of this year much of our freedom and economic stability will be gone and to reverse the damage will take many years if ever. Relative easy to pass a bill, but hell to reverse once implemented.
