Where have you been? They protested right outside the White House on a weekly, if not daily basis for at least 5 years.
Every Saturday Squeegee and Friends were in front of the WH with posters spread all over the street and cardboard cut out face masks of President Bush and many of his cabinet members.
On August 12, 2006 terrorists rallied in front of the White House.
One photographer snapped a photo clearly showing the outline of a gun tucked in his pants. The FBI was called and a CD of the pics was given to them. This was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed. The police moved the FReepers to the other side of the WH stating they could not protect us where we had a permitted space.
Code Pink held an all night PJ party in Lafayette Park, but I cannot find the details at the moment. They were there in the park and I was standing outside the gate with 3 others holding "Human Shield" signs.
