Back in the days when the “reds” were on the move, attempting to swallow up country after country and impose Marxist rule, I wanted the reds dead. I feel that way today too.

It is time for Honduras to break diplomatic relations with Brazil and the US and then only allow movement out of those former embassies after a thorough inspection of all personnel and goods to make sure that Zelaya, any other coup plotters, and other goods that could be used against the current legitimate Honduran government are intercepted.

I agree. It's the right thing to do.

He identifies with Chavez, Castro, Ortega, and his supposed cousin, the KGB-trained Odinga, who named his son Fidel. Our citizens are very naive about who Obama is. Few have seen than Obama was prepared to be a Marxist dictator. His life has been shaped to be a spokesman for redistribution. He has no experience with production of anything. He was created by Marxist parents and family friends to campaign for the dictatorship of the proletariat. Our media are largely complicit.

I will not be surprised to see the U.S. supplying material to Venezuela for the impending “civil” war. I don't believe Obama has the confidence in his authority over our military yet, some of whom question his eligibility for the presidency, to send U.S. troops to complete the overthrow of the representative republic of Honduras, throw out their constitution and install a communist thug who can then enjoy the presidency for life of the Castros, Chavez, and now Ortega.

Obama has friends in Congress, whom the media dismiss as extremists, submitting bills to amend our Constitution to allow more than two terms for the presidency. I'm not sure why it matters, since our courts and legislature have been quite willing to ignore our constitutional requirement that a president be a natural-born citizen, and are clearly displacing state and local governments, running private industry, and selecting those few large industries which cooperate as partners. We are learning why our founders were so concerned with allegiance.

I’m wondering if there is anything we can do on this side of the border to protest this.
I shudder to say this but if there is an axis of evil in the world today
it looks as though one of its members lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
If he would do this do Honduras what would stop him doing it to Canada?

Honduran elections are now only 8 weeks away. This installation of a "parallel government" would be, if it proves to be truly occurring, a blatant attempt to interfere with those elections.

The best course for Honduras if this is true would probably be to declare Ambassador Llorens persona non grata.

The US has had someone declare that removing him was legal. I can’t remember who did it.

It is an outrage that this is being suggested..and I just have to wonder if Obama is being blackmailed by Russia, or Chavez, or Ortega, etc.

Update:

The honduran chancellor Carlos Lopez Contreras has stated a few minutes ago that there are orders to all ambassadors that refuse to recognize the current govt to give back their credentials, their special car plates and their tax exemption forms imediately and leave the country.

Also there is a request to the embassies of Mexico, Argentina, Spain and Venzuela to retire the coat of arms of their respective countries from the embassies as a sign of break of diplomatic relations.

The govt has made it clear, the ambassadors of Mexico, Argentina, Spain and Venzuela will not be allowed in the country again, and if in 10 days Brazil doesn't define the state of Zelaya it will loose its right to have a representation in the country.

Thanks for the warning
If they are his supporters, let them know that not all are fooled by their lies...

Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to express to you the extreme dismay with which I view the actions of Obama to undermine the legitimate government of Honduras.
It is simply incredible that the administration would side with dictators such as Castro and Chavez to support this demagogue Zelaya.

If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

Long live the Republic of Honduras and its freedom loving people.

The administration is good with this, we have a shadow government of our own. The government we have grown to love and see everyday on tv fighting for the people(SARCASM!!!) and the shadow government who is working behind the curtain to strangle America and it's people.

Won’t be much of a civil war, polls in Honduras state that 85% of the people want Zelaya gone. The opposition is very small compared to the good guys. Honduras should treat the US embassy they same way they have the Brazilian embassy, tell them to butt out or get out.

Happened with Aristide (Clinton). Will probably happen with Zelaya (Obama and Clinton). I say: follow the money (drug money).

Interferenace in the internal affairs of a sovereign government.

Why doesn't Obama try that in China?

(Rhetorical question)

Honduras can control the activity of any embassy to a circumscribed area.

I always thought embassies existed at the exclusive option of the host country.

And Obama has rendered the legitimate embassy of Honduras non-existent. Why can't Honduras do the same?
