My guess is that the tapes show evidence of two separate explosions as indicated by a seismograph located nearby. This supports the work by retired USAF General Benton Partin, who ran the Air Force's weapons development program. ie he understood explosions. He has solid evidence the building was brought down by charges attached to the building's columns and not by a blast. The must stunning evidence he presented was columns that has significantly more damage, yet were further away from columns that showed very little damage.
I also remember 4-5 years ago, the Air Force built a structure that matched the infrastructure of the Fed building and ran several experimental bombings that attempted replicated the claimed method - didn't even touch the build, much less bring it down.

"The must stunning evidence he presented was columns that has significantly more damage. . ." I believe that's the reason all the black plastic paper was used. To hide all of the squared-off cuts caused by brissance. (Michael Rivero -- there's your clue.)
