(IsraelNN.com) A top official in the Obama Administration has at last admitted what intelligence agents and Israeli government officials have been warning about for years: Iran intends to build a nuclear arsenal.
In media interviews with American television news networks scheduled to air Sunday, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said bluntly, "The Iranians have the intention of having nuclear weapons."

As has always been the case, waiting too long to confront aggression will make conflict inevitable and much more costly.

"Our President will run the other way if Israel attacks Iran. He’ll put all the blame on them and when a missle is aimed here, he will call them and surrender."
That's right. So what else is new? The free traitors are offering us the same kinds of choices in globalist candidates for the next election. They won't allow war against Iran, because they don't want freight fuel to go up or our commie/fascist east Asian "trading partners" to get angry.
But the dollar will fall. Freight fuel will go sky high, and revenues for government-employee hag relatives of corporate families will dry up. The stuff will hit the fan. And despite the hilarious daily sponsored propaganda, we're all aware of the bipartisan causes.

Wow: the ivy league gifted top of the class is starting to figure what the retard class had figured out years ago.
Just in 2007 the libs were telling us not to worry, “Iran is TEN YEARS away from having a bomb!”
Thanks Liberal douche bags! :) No jobs, massive taxes, oppressive regulations but at least gays can get married. :)

I have always believed the ex-presidents should shut up unless pressed into duty by the sitting president. It is not like these issues are being hidden. There are plenty of people to speak out against the idiocy.

Some people worship Bush like some worship hussein... not saying that you do because at least you agree he was an abject failure on iran... but some here refuse to see the light. We just disagree on what is and is not accepted and required in politics today. IMHO... Civility and decorum are dead until freedom and liberty are reestablished.

When I msee Carter and Clinton I just feel repulsed. Maybe I would feel different if W did it, but I don’t think it is necessary. I think his dad is the model for how they should butt out. They all had their turns.

I am not only concerned about the missles which are a delivery system for nukes, but other systems of delivery, like on a tanker coming to the US. Also, he is likely to give a bomb to someone else to do the dirty work.

Chaos and death, thy name is Obama (and his left wing minions.) Americans who have fallen for the Left’s nonsense are going to be mighty surprised when they begin seeing the results. This is about the worst time in world affairs for a Muslim Marxist to be our President.

I know very little about Gates but I do strongly doubt he is a card-carrying communist, which his boss apparently is. I do not think it is probable he is pro-chavez, pro-russian, pro-zelaya, etc, but I do not know this for sure. I would bet money on it. I doubt he is happy about the 180-degree turn in america’s defensive and strategic posture.
That said, I do find it very hard to judge him. Put yourself in his shoes. He gets some amount of control over interpreting and implementing orders from the white house. He knows his replacement would be a person far more sympathetic to obama’s ideology. He can only assume the difference between having himself and such a replacement as secdef would be a nightmare.
I don’t know that that is part of his reasoning, though he certainly cannot be blind to the concept. other obvious factors might be liking the job and wanting to keep it, or maybe already having a quit date in place and just waiting.

He also didn't do a single damn thing about it.
Sorry, partner, the shame and failure here is comprehensively bipartisan, and nobody gets the slightest inkling of credit.

They won't be doing anything for years yet. They just want to get their first few bombs safely built, to deter the west and Israel from ever trying to stop them again, militarily. Once they have that assurance, they will build 2, then 5, then 10 a year until they have 50 of the things. Then they will give 5-10 to their terrorist proxies to use, while they sit behind their remaining arsenal and thumb their noses at the victims.
Every scrap of this has been laid out in their internal discussions with each other than their direct statements to the west.

Ahmadinejad said in reply, "the American government must now kiss my backside". It is actually somewhat more likely than Obama's psychotic "must", and at least as rational.
