Where have I been? When I think of connecticut, I think fall foliage, Bed -and- breakfasts, great seafood. Wow, am I out of the loop!!!

That's certainly still the case. However, when you have a sanctuary city like NH, you get all the problems that go along with it.

Stay out of NH.....head to Branford. You'll have a better time & keep breathing. :-)

Central and southern Connecticut used to be an industrial powerhouse, and developed large mill towns as a result (New Heinous, Hartford, Bridgeport, etc.) that are now a decaying blight on the state. SW Connecticut is suburbs for NY. NW Connecticut (Litchfield County) is what you are thinking of.
