Eugenics has a long history in America. In 1915 Harry Haiselden, a Chicago physician and eugenicist, convinced a mother to let her disabled newborn die by withholding any care. This was his practice but there was no fear of prosecution, in fact a movie (The Black Stork) was made about it, remade and shown for years.

Thus when Nazi doctors were put on trial at Nuremberg they pointed to American eugenics laws and practices as a defense particularly the Holmes court decision.

The abortion industry is just the latest step down the slope.
