At war with the left
The Ellis County Press ^ | October 1, 2009 | Duff Hale

Posted on 10/01/2009 11:50:14 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

This is a war if there ever was one.

Barack Hussein Obama and the socialist leadership in Congress are working furiously to change America and to transform our nation in a way no one would have ever believed.

They’re spending trillions of our tax dollars to do it.

I am not talking about the type of miserable change Jimmy Carter inflicted on our nation.

Thanks to Ronald Reagan we were able to reverse much of the course Carter had put us on, but what we’re seeing today isn’t like anything you and I have ever seen before!

I’m talking about a whole scale, radical transformation of America.

From our national defense to our foreign policy to our free market economic system - Obama and company have implemented and have plans to further implement massive government control over each of us.

Americans - our friends and neighbors - do not fully realize the radical changes Barack Obama and the socialists in Congress are foisting upon our way of life!

Today the Obamaites, George Soros, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Rahm Emanuel, Harry Reid - that small but powerful claque of left-wing radicals who are at the controls of this transformation are all disciples of the 1960s radical Saul Alinsky.

Alinsky’s book, "Rules for Radicals," was the Little Red Book for the college radicals of the 1960s.

Alinsky had a deep, deep hatred of America.

A hatred that ran so deep he wrote a blueprint for tearing our nation apart.

Many agents of the radical left are, in fact, today leaders in Congress and in our White House, all embracing Alinsky’s "Rules for Radicals" - the road map for turning our nation upside down.

Every day we see more and more of what lies behind this Administration’s piecemeal efforts to take over the car makers, the banks and the health care system: creating a new America that will bear little resemblance to the country in which we grew up.

This cadre of Alinskyites has attacked many people recently.

First it was Sarah Palin and unfortunately along with her, her family.

Next came Joe the Plumber for asking the Anointed One a simple but hard question. Next were the Mormons for questioning homosexuality.

Then it was Rush Limbaugh – who didn’t take it lying down, by the way.

Next came the tax day "tea party" attendees who were "tea bagged."

Then there was the beauty pageant contestant for questioning gay marriage.

And, the Cambridge cop also for daring to arrest a loud-mouthed racist who just happened to be a professor and a friend of Obama.

Now we have "un-American," "Nazi" "mobs" attending town hall meetings to let their voices be heard loud and clear, speaking to their elected officials in "plain English."

Guess what folks?

You’ve been "community organized."

These groups and individuals have been isolated for destruction for standing in the way of a resurgent postmodern progressive movement and for challenging its once-in-a-lifetime standard bearer, Barack Hussein Obama.

Manufactured "politics of personal destruction" originated with Saul Alinsky, the mentor of a young Hillary Clinton, who wrote her 92-page college senior thesis on the late Chicago-based agitator titled, "There is only the fight."

Obama and his hard core Chicago cadre, Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod, have fine-tuned Alinsky’s techniques as laid out in his guide to political warfare.

In plain English, we now see how private citizens can become the focus of national vilification overnight – all in the quest for socialist political victory.

We can see now how, with the connivance of the mainstream media and abetted by George Soros’ money, the former president, George W. Bush, never had a chance.

This is the same generous guy who gave his successor a heartfelt hug the day he took office.

A grassroots cadre of ordinary Americans has stood up, making it perfectly clear it’s extremely difficult to isolate and demonize an individual.

Mr. Alinsky noted in his "Rule 12" that it is difficult to go after "institutions," but attacking "tea baggers" and "mobs" has only created more resistance and drawn attention to the left’s Alinsky playbook.

Even Americans who are merely expressing their constitutionally-protected right to free speech are now fair game of the Alinksyites.

Indeed, as Barack Obama’s approval ratings plummet, angry citizens may be using Alinsky’s own rules against him.

If he fails as expected to get the economy fully running again and continues to demonize everyday citizens for his failures, he will be further isolated and even ridiculed.

Before the election I wrote about Obama and "change" and in the column I pointed out that a window into the soul of Saul Alinsky was found in his book when he wrote, "Let us not forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgement to the very first radical … known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom – Lucifer."

Now we have confirmation about exactly what Obama meant by "change."

It is clearly socialism and Marxist economics, which Americans have always repudiated, all neatly wrapped in Alinskyesque camouflage.

Election Day 2008...

"Today, Americans decide on whether, in the words of Barack Obama last week, to 'fundamentally transform the United States of America.'

That is really what this election is about, even though most of those voting for Barack Obama do not want to fundamentally transform America. That is Barack Obama’s and the Democratic Party’s agenda."

Yes, it's too late- too late to take back the country without FIGHTING for it. If not enough people have the stomach to fight for what we know as The American Way, then we've lost it.

Yes.
There is a small window of opportunity to save yourself, but in the long run we’re all screwed.

very first radical … known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom – Lucifer."

Alinsky was not the first leftist to glorify Lucifer as the first radical. That analogy goes back to the founder of modern socialism: Karl Marx. Read Richard Wurmbrand's Marx & Satan for the details.

"The Communist Party USA views the 2008 elections as a tremendous opportunity to defeat the policies of the right-wing Republicans and to move our country in a new progressive direction.

The record turnout in the Democratic Presidential primary races shows that millions of voters, including millions of new voters, are using this election to bring about real change. We wholeheartedly agree with them."

A Landslide Mandate For Change

Congratulations on an extraordinary history making election!

We can think back with pride to decades of hard work toward our strategic goal of a big enough, broad enough and united enough labor and all-people’s movement that could overcome the ultra-right blockage to all progress. That all people’s movement has come to life, it is dynamic and it has the potential to keep growing.

The election of Barack Obama and a strengthened Congress creates new conditions in our country. There is now the possibility to shift gears and move forward. This new day requires us to further develop our tactics in order to continue to deepen and broaden labor and people’s unity.

There are thousands of experiences that we all have had in these momentous days, some large, some small, all of which express the enormity of change in thinking and readiness for involvement that is underway and that steels us for the battles ahead.

The tears of joy we all shared as crowds gathered to watch the election results here and throughout the world dramatize the new moment we are in.

July 1, 2009...

Change is Here, Change is Coming

Sam Webb, National Chair, Communist Party, USA:

Let me begin with a simple observation: If the last 30 years were an era of reaction, then the coming decade could turn into an era of reform, even radical reform. Six months into the Obama presidency, I would say without hesitation that the landscape, atmosphere, conversation, and agenda have strikingly changed compared to the previous eight years.

In this legislative session, we can envision winning a Medicare-like public option and then going further in the years ahead.

We can visualize passing tough regulatory reforms on the financial industry, which brought the economy to ruin.

We can imagine the troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan while U.S. representatives participate in a regional process that brings peace and stability to the entire region.

In the current political climate, the expansion of union rights becomes a real possibility.

Much the same can be said about winning a second stimulus bill, and we sure need one, given the still-rising rate, and likely long term persistence, of unemployment.

Isn’t it possible in the Obama era to create millions of green jobs in manufacturing and other sectors of the economy in tandem with an attack on global warming?

Can’t we envision taking new strides in the long journey for racial and gender equality in this new era, marked at its beginning by the election of the first African American to the presidency?

And isn’t the overhaul of the criminal justice and prison system – a system steeped in racism – no longer pie-in-the sky, but something that can be done in the foreseeable future?

All these things are within reach now!

Hannity just said, “Vote. Vote. Keep your passion alive until November, 2010.” But that may be waaay too late. If BO signs *any* health care (or insurance) reform bill into law within the next several months, the Dems will build useless, but durable new bureaucracies faster than we can tear them down even by force. But see tagline.

fine-tuned Alinsky’s techniques as laid out in his guide to political warfare.

The very armor needed to defend against this type of warfare may be to develop a shield made of the stuff. We need to begin loudly praising those who have been Alinsky'd so as to wear it as a badge of honor. When the tactic develops into positive reinforcement for the 'target', the technique will lose favor.

“Dems will build useless, but durable new bureaucracies faster than we can tear them down even by force.”

In my line of work that is a misnomer. Anything and everything can be utterly & totally destroyed if desired.

It took the Founders 25 years to organize resistance to King George III and the Redcoats. We’re moving much faster today and are on schedule.

Um, we can change anything we want, with a political majority. The only question is do we have one. Nothing the Dems do is irreversible. The American people are sovereign.
