I have 8 1st-cousins, and over 100 2nd-cousins ... 3rd cousins number around 500. (Yes, I have counted them in my Genealogical database) It's in the 1000's if you include those by marriage. I'm sure there are some hefty flakes in there somewhere.
The term "Cousin" doesn't mean much ...

I'm sure there are some hefty flakes in there somewhere. I have lots and lots of cousins,too (Irish Catholic) but not one of them has ever has a run in with the law more serious than "60 in a 50".

The term "Cousin" doesn't mean much ... Seems these to were closer, connected and not just distant cousins.
Hearing the cousin supported Perry politically for many years, and the cousin was a big pro death penalty guy, in addition, the cousin seems to be directly involved in Perry's current political campaign.
