Two once great American cities rotting from within due to the diseased liberal mindset.
When I think of those two cities, and California, I wonder how much more of Leftist insanity they can take before they completely collapse.
I am at a loss to explain how they remain viable.
The IOC knows how to do math:

Winning an Olympic bid takes more than a pretty face. It’s very difficult to be competitive against other strong candidates.
A city has to demonstrate that it can construct the facilities and put on a successful event. My guess is the Chicago reps didn’t convince the voters that they had the stuff.
Too bad. It would have been a wonderful opportunity to raze a few square miles of the South Side for some new venues.

I was just thinking that if this happened under Bush, most Freepers would be pissed and say it was anti-Americanism that led to them not picking Chicago.

If Chicago won, it would have looked like Obama successfully arm-twisted the IOC members. They can't afford to look like they are the US's minions.

It just struck me that Obama has ONE more card to play. He could follow in the footsteps of Jimmy Carter and announce a US boycott of the 2016 Olympics, presumably on the grounds of “racism”.

She actually is a natural born citizen of the U.S. so is Constitutionally Qualified to be President, unlike Comrade Obama.

I’m beginning to believe that Congress could be routed this time around. Long way to 2010, and there’s nobody at home strategically at any level.

Will Maxine Waters claim racism and demand SOME of the olympic events be held in Chicago/Obama-land?
