Marian Goodall is a disabled 61-year-old grandmother who lives with her sons family. She is recovering from knee surgery, and apparently her 10-year-old granddaughter is growing weary of caring for granny. Zoe put "Nan" on eBay, calling her grandmother "annoying" but "very cuddly and loves word searches." The bids got to $3,276 before eBay removed the listing because it violated its policy banning the sale of, well, human beings. Little Zoe says that the prank was all in good fun, and that she had no idea her grandmother would get such high bids.

She’ll make a good Obamaton.
Just a baby step from selling grandma to eliminating grandma.
Wow, $3,276 for a whole grandma. Imagine the break up value if Zoe just sold her organs!
hahaha...sum-of-parts value of granny
I’d have to meet the grandma, first.
Been there, know how the kid feels.
If “Little Zoe” lives past her teenage pregnancies, her gangsta wanna-be boyfriend, and her foray into “recreational” drug use, she may live to a ripe old age herself. She should hope the law of “what goes around comes around” passes her by, in that case. I have a feeling that society in the future will be even less unkind to elderly infirm humans than it is already.
“...and that she had no idea her grandmother would get such high bids.” LOL!
Yup, she’s a “clunker.
At age 10, she's just the right age for reaching old age exactly when the anti-elderly seeds planed now reach full growth.
lol ping
True. At that right, I hope she’s reconciled to the idea that she will never run the risk of being a “PITA” to the younger generation, because they’ll just turn her in for being over the expiration date.
...and that she had no idea her grandmother would get such high bids. LOL!
Of course grandmother's get high bids, little girl, grandmothers are precious in the sight of everyone who has one or who remembers one. I would bid a million dollars if I could have my grandmother back.
