Big, BIG government “creating” more “jobs” for dummies.
Any bets on how many will be non-American visa workers?
I am one of those “cybersecurity experts” they’d likely be hiring, including having the Masters in Information Assurance developed and chartered by the NSA. However, I’d have a real hard time justifying working for this administration, even given that I know we as a Nation desperately need the infusion of computer security.
>>this administration
The country and nation are more than the Administration.
And jihadis don’t fight by the Marquis’ rules.
If we’re on the defensive, they’re gonna wanna take advantage of it.
What % will be named Mohammed?
I think we need better security for our medical records. As it stands now, more and more hospitals are going with vendors use widespread databases. If I were to ask the hospital for names and addresses of all the people who have access to my medical records, it would probably fill a book. We need to bring our medical records back home locally and not put them out in cyberspace.
Of course, "cyberczar," of friggn course...
... to hack and attack the sites and systems of pro-American, anti-communist, freedom-loving patriots.
who says it’s a jobless recovery?
If this follows normal government hiring procedures, none. Security clearances will be required.
No, no, no! What we need is a wizard!
Ditto that. Got a dice inquiry along these lines in this morning’s mail. No thanks.

You know, it isn't really a conspiracy theory to say that this administration would love to shut down criticism on the internet; their FCC "diversity" czar Mark Lloyd has said exactly that. I think the Obama administration would nationalize the internet backbone in a heartbeat if they thought it was in their interests.

who would run it for them?
I watched ‘State of Play’ on DVD last night. A little plodding and longer than it needed to be, but worth the cheap price of admission to watch at home. (Based on a BBC series; Russell Crowe, Ben Afleck, Robin Wright.)
It deals with a murder, a CongressRat and the takeover of Homeland Security (which, in real-life, is FLUSH With gazillions of dollars in contracts for the taking!) by ‘Soldiers of Fortune’ types.
Creepy...
Does your name mean, “I’m gonna SEND you to Valhalla, Sucker!” or does it mean, “The End is Nigh?”
Are you thinking a company like Google wouldn't be interested in "filtering" content?
They have been out of that closet on that for years, yet they steadfastly refuse to block al Qaida snuff films, and it's not easy to have them removed.
How long did it take CBS to acquire everything they wanted to know about Buckhead when he realized that the phony National Guard reprimand from the 70's was written on a window's template? An hour?
And that was during a Bush administration.
One of our local posters emailed an anonymous response to an article, and later found her name, town she lived in, and occupation used in a subsequent article.
Everything the left was accusing "Darth Cheney" of in the way of domestic surveillance, they were already engaged in, and to disconcertingly low levels.
Obama is currently in the process of "sharing" control of the internet, to be more "fair".
That doesn't send a red flag up for you?
