Palin was right about Letterman

Admit it: Sarah Palin seems pretty prescient when it comes to David Letterman's creepy talk about sex.

Palin excoriated Letterman last June after Letterman joked that one of Palin's daughters had been "knocked up" by New York Yankee player Alex Rodriguez.

CBS won’t fire him. CBS is full of libs, and Letterman is their #1 lib. If he were anyone else they would have tossed his ass out, but since it’s Letterman, those libs will protect each other

When is CBS going to kick him to the curb?

When is his wife going to kick him to the curb? Let's see now, how much will she be worth after the divorce?

Did you hear the audience laughing and clapping when he revealed his sexual harassment? How disgusting!

From NewsBusters.org, June 9, 2009...

Seven months after Election Day, and the attacks on Sarah Palin keep coming.

On Monday, CBS's David Letterman on the "Late Show" shamelessly went after the Alaska governor and her family during his opening monologue, as well as in his "Top Ten" list.

Top Ten Highlights Of Sarah Palin's Trip To New York

10. Visited New York landmarks she normally only sees from Alaska

9. Laughed at all the crazy-looking foreigners entering the U.N.

8. Made moose jerky on Rachael Ray

7. Keyed Tina Fey's car

6. After a wink and a nod, ended up with a kilo of crack

5. Made coat out of New York City rat pelts

4. Sat in for Kelly Ripa. Regis couldn't tell the difference.

3. Finally met one of those Jewish people Mel Gibson's always talking about

2. Bought makeup from Bloomingdale's to update her "slutty flight attendant" look

1. Especially enjoyed not appearing on Letterman

There was a pre nup. Would love to see it.Bet she knows all about this stuff...Let's see...wife cannot be forced to testify

Now, that's a good reason to marry.

My gut tells me mhe knew this was going to come out....just not as a blackmail case.

Letterman was pretty phoney about the "endanger my family" etc. He's feeding the world a plate of cr**.

Any respectable business would fire any male in authority who used his position to extract sexual favors from subordinates. In a heartbeat.

Of course, here we have CBS, the proud former home of Dan Blather and his failed jihad to embarrass Bush with forged docuents showing he received preferential treatment from the military in his duty assignment.

Probably best not to expect any significant punitive action out of the Clinton Broadcasting System (CBS).

Dave probably already obtained assurances his job is safe. Hell, CBS will probably pay all of his legal bills.

“According to unamed sources, Letterman did father the child. His wife, however, isn’t the mother - that honor belongs to his sister, Gretchen.”

Who is making this claim? Is there anything at all to this?

His audience are mostly brain-dead lefties, who laugh on que to repulsive jokes because they want to look “cool” to the other brain-dead idiots they came in with. None of these people really have a true sense of humor. If they did, they would refuse to laugh at such a pathetic buffoon as Littleman.

Was it just me, or did he sound unconvincing?

If there weren’t someone being charged with blackmail, I would have said he was acting like a blowhard fratboy.

"CBS won’t fire him."

Letterman is a sicko, who's clearly suffering from many personality disorders. But, he's also a shrewd business man.

He learned his lesson when he lost the Tonight Show to Leno and had to leave NBC. Letterman, unlike Leno, owns the Late Show, not CBS. Letterman (through his production company) owns the name, he owns the material, and he owns the archived shows themselves. And, he owns the Late, Late Show as well.

Even if CBS wanted to can him - and I'm absolutely sure they don't - they probably can't, just from a practical perspective.

Well in America, anybody can sue anyone for anything. There should be a class action suit by his viewers for personal damages.

I would sign on as an "alleged" viewer. Now that he has sullied his own image, I have trouble sleeping, blurred vision, loss of consortium, poor self esteem, etc.

Why there must be millions of us.

The killer in the famous “Black Dahlia” case from the forties was a Hollywood abortionist. His son, an LA detective, has written about this.

Letterman is a low-life but he hasn’t done anything wrong.
If he had sex with a co-worker while single, so what?
I’ve had sex with a co-worker when I was single, who cares?
