But she is a decent enough republican. Not perfect but OK.

I know next to nothing about her. I like her general stance, the upright shoulders, in speaking. The shoulder comment wasn’t a shot at her.

She was the first to call for the exclusion of illegal aliens from the census count. She points out that illegals are driving political changes they have to right to.

Living here in MI she was a big proponent of cash for clunkers...

It did nothing but create havoc, increase the debt of many auto-dealers waiting on payment, destroy cars and intrinct residual assets in those vehicles, and pull sales forward. We will look back at this program in a year and realize what a kludge it was.

So at this point, I look at her with a jaundice eye....,

Yeah, that’s one of her imperfections but I think its a political reality of being a michigan congressperson. Kind of like Thaddeus McCotter who voted for the automaker bailout.

There’s no such thing as a perfect one. This is not heaven.

Beware of politicians from MI....its very much a blue state...soon to be the middle east outpost in the US.

We could do a lot worse.

Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) speaks during a Congressional rally held by ACORN on the foreclosure crisis in Washington March 11, 2008.

My current congressclunker is Mark Schauer.

Let me rub it in. My congressman is Steve King--one of the best. He is one of the most articulate members of congress. He's on TV a lot. He was again on FOX regarding the ACORN expose.

My condolences.

There are 83 counties in Michigan. Between 9 and 11 of those are consistent democrat counties. Look to Detroit, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo and a couple of the prison towns for consistent democrat strongholds.

We could point to our opposition to gay marriage, decent gun laws, opposition to affirmative action as proof that we aren’t a bunch of liberals like a lot of know nothings think.

Ping for Candice Miller. She’s one of the ones I called here in Michigan, along with every other Repub & demorats, & I told everyone of them that if they sign their name to the healthcare bill, they will surely be voted out in 2010!

I intend to vote out any Repub that signed onto the stimulus bill - which I believe all the House pubbies didn’t sign it, but some of the senators did.
