It’s just a shame Zero and Michelle’s children won’t be able to walk out of their house in Chicago and see an international community.
It didn’t happen because ACORN couldn’t stuff the IOC ballot box and illegals didn’t get to vote.
A clear case of believing your own BS......
I think this old Dem line is fitting: The bitch set me up.
Can anyone imagine someone with the stature of say, either of the two President Bushes, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford or even Richard Nixon flying off to Copenhagen with hat in hand to essentially beg for the IOC to award the Olympics to their hometown?
I think you are on the right track. I wonder if this may cause some bad $hit to come out of the ongoing Blago and Rezko investigations about the Bomber that otherwise might have been squelched??

Politically, Daley gets a gold medal: Mayor’s Olympic bid gives him lift against rivals
Chicago Sun-Times (IL) - Friday, September 22, 2006
Author: Fran Spielman, The Chicago Sun-Times
Mayor Daley’s plan to build a 95,000-seat stadium in Washington Park is a gold medal-winning political masterstroke — whether or not Chicago ultimately wins the 2016 Summer Olympic sweepstakes.
By revising his Olympic dream to benefit his native South Side, Daley has changed the subject — and put his African-American mayoral challengers on their heels.
(snip)
Daley has a mixed record on glitzy, big-ticket projects. O’Hare Airport expansion is a work in progress. He delivered on Millennium Park, Soldier Field, Midway Airport and the 911 emergency center, albeit with massive overruns on each. But the mayor’s proposals for a Lake Calumet Airport, a downtown circulator and a $2 billion casino-entertainment complex were non-starters.
By pinning his Olympic hopes on the South Side, Daley appears to be a political winner, no matter what happens on the international stage — so long as he can convince South Side community leaders locked out of the process until now to accommodate the secrecy demanded by the U.S. Olympic Committee to come along for the ride.
He was on the plane when the vote was announced.
We lost five more soldiers in Afghanistan today.
And not one single word in the article from the White House that they were even thinking about Gen McChrystal’s request for reinforcements.
Obama spent a huge amount of time on the phone lobbying world leaders and chit chatting Chicago officials about the pros and cons of going.
Barry was worried about health care , health care, health care and didn’t want to be out of the country at the time of an important vote.
His Constitutional duty is to be Commander in Chief.
Not a pimp for Chicago.
Mmmm mmm mmm Barack Hussein Obama
The Kenyan went to Copenhagen just to show his cool
The IOC said thanks for dropping by, now go home you America hating fool
Mmmm mmm mmm Barack Hussein Obama
Obama certainly wouldn't be the first President to make a decision based on faulty intelligence ... I'm just a little amused that the term "intelligence" is being used to describe text messages and cell calls to cronies.
Muzzie commie idiot believes his own PR men.
A huge sacrifice!
My guess the possibility of Obama going and getting the games was too much of a temptation to pass up trying to put a little shine back on his messiah halo.
If he fails, obviously it wasn't his fault, (it never is) if he was successful, he gets to ride in the chariot like the Roman emperors before the games awash in the love of the adoring masses. All hail Obama !!!
Blair landed the Olympics for London in 2012 - Val probably was meeting with him trying to find out which IOC Committee member/payee needs the most encouragement to get Chicago voted in.
I didn’t realize Sarah Palin was heading up the Chicago entry for the Olympics.
Bush got Chicago to the Final Four,
Obama got Chicago kicked out the door...
Good one.
