That explains why I am so freakin’ smart!
That is SOOOO true - about laying down and your brain still “playing”! I’m glad I’m not the only one who has experienced that though.
EXCELLENT! Now I can report to my friend that all those HOURS we used to kill at her house after school playing Tetris was actually GOOD for us! Of course, doing our homework might have been BETTER! LOL
If you’re really good at Tetris, you should try a game on Worldwinner.com. They’ve got a game called Monopoly Downtown, which is a Tetris-like game that is pretty fun.
If you’re really good at hand-eye coordination, you can make some money playing. I’m pretty good, but not anywhere what the best players can do. I usually score in the 3,200-3,400 range and the best players score near 3,800 or more.
You get 4 minutes to try and complete 2 grids of Monopoly-type properties using Tetris pieces. Even if you’re not that good at it, they’ll place you in a lower-skilled bracket so you won’t have to compete against the sharks, until you start winning a lot. Then they’ll move you to a higher bracket.
My favorite game is Scrabble Cubes! I’m really good at that one. I’m not one of the VERY best players, but I’m probably in the top 0.1%. The lousy part is, I have to play against the other players in the top 0.1%, and that’s why I don’t play for money most of the time, unless they have tournaments where the top 20 or 30 get some cash.
You can play for free too, you don’t have to play for money!
There was a great documentary about Tetris called “Tetris -From Russia With Love” here’s a clip:

Well worth watching.
