The good thing to come of all this HC crap is its exposing all the RINOs nationally. Its time to cull the herd.

Schwarzenegger Endorses Obama Health Care Effort

Of course he does - - Arnold is a natural-born Austrian socialist and he always has been.

Of course I did, but you don’t know a thing about CA politics, so why not move on? We have serious issues NATIONAL to address.

Darlin, since you weren't here during the Cali election, perhaps you need to do some research before telling others to move on. I, among hundred of other non Cali residents, pushed McClintock from the get go. But it was Cali freepers who insisted on Arnold's popularity as the reason to vote for him.

You see, like many other freepers, I have a vested interest when alleged conservatives end up pushing a RINO into office. Not only does it affect state politics, but it has a negative affect on the national stage as well. And it pushed the GOP farther and farther to the left, to the point of no return. Do you want Arnold representing conservative views on the nation stage with his endorsement of Obamacare? If you can't see the connection, I can't help you.

It seems that whenever a Republican says we should try for real health care reform, in a bi-partisan manner, the media chalks it up as another vote for ObamaCare.

Even Arnold was talking about bipartisan reform, not Obamacare (from another article):

In his statement, Mr. Schwarzenegger did not endorse any specific version of the legislation. But he noted his own efforts at improving the health care system in California and urged bipartisan cooperation at the national level.

The media, having lied so far in saying the republicans hadn't proposed any reforms, is now taking every call for reform as a repudiation of the "congressional republicans", and claiming it is another win for Obama.

This even though Obama, while CLAIMING he wants bipartisan reform, has shut out the republicans, isn't speaking to them, and is pushing for a democrat-only bill that appeals only to the far left.

If there was an unbiased media source, they would tell the truth, that the republicans are pushing for real bipartisan reform (meaning only do those things that can get support from a vast majority of the country), and it is Obama and the Democrats that are blocking meaningful reform, working instead to take over the health care industry.

Ha! Did he really? Silly man- he should know better.

Meanwhile- Arnold should know better too...it’s as though they’ve all taken some kind of drug making them incapable of seeing the disaster they’re supporting.

You are so clueless as to what I’m talking about. The post below has it right. My first choice was McClintock.

Note the wording.... "Schwarzenegger Endorses Obama Health Care Effort"

Endorsing an EFFORT doesn't mean diddly. To me, that's the equivalent of handing out a participation ribbon.

Endorsing BO's PLAN, would mean that he thinks it's a good idea.

More likely, though, it's just another illiterate journalist.

I haven't read the whole article but I heard Schwarzenegger's remarks on the radio, this morning and I thought, at the time that it didn't sound like much of an endorsement to me. He said that he applauded Obama's efforts to reform health care. Big deal, even Sean Hannity has said that health care needs to be reformed. I don't think that Schwarzenegger said anything about doing it Obama's way, through single payer.

California desperately needs to get out from under the burden of the illegals, anyway possible. Of course if the water remains shut off to the San Joachin Valley, all those illegals may end up here, in WA state.

In some states, “darlin” you take what ya can get, and Arnold was what we could get over Bustamonte.

Bustamonte would have rubber-stamped every extemist bill from the democrat controlled legislative houses in Sacramento, whereas Arnold has not.

Arnold is a RINO for sure, but we knew that going in. DUH.

And that is the difference between principled conservatism and populism. When you settle for the lesser of two evils, you’re still getting evil.
