Anyone who has ever been gung-ho about federalized abstinence education funding, or any other federalized funding of educational programs (drug education, for example)... well, this is what you've wrought.
All there is to argue over now is whether a specific program is a good idea or not, not whether the feds have the right to do it.
Allow me to take this moment to remind everyone that Mitt Romney is an enthusiastic backer of No Child Left Behind, which greatly expanded exactly this sort of federal expansion into education.
Expect to see much more of this regardless of who is elected, if the GOP decides to stay stuck in stupid and insist that their intrusions into state's rights are somehow different than the ones the Democrats do.
