Politics: The administration stages a photo-op with handpicked doctors who support its health care reform. Fortunately, most doctors still believe that the first rule of medicine is to do no harm.
It would seem some doctors still make house calls. Some 150 of them made one at the White House Monday in an attempt to give a booster shot to the administration's chaotic and stalled health care reform drive.
Rather than a grass-roots uprising of physicians, this was a classic case of AstroTurfing.
Attendance was by invitation only, and 40 of the 150 were said to be members of Doctors for America, a reincarnation of the Doctors for Obama arm of the Obama campaign that boasts of having more than 15,000 members.
The physicians were told to bring their white lab coats with them to make sure the TV cameras to capture the proper image. Those who just showed up wearing suits or dresses were provided with lab coats hastily rustled up.
White House spokesman Reid Cherlin insisted that the doctors "were not invited based on their support for a public option." We'd like a second opinion on that. Doctors for America as an organization embraces a government-run insurance option.
"It just appears that the president of the United States, at this point, is choosing to meet only those who support his agenda," said Dr. Margaret Flowers, a Maryland pediatrician and congressional fellow for Physicians for a National Health Program, a group not invited.

Nurses and other health related workers affected by this debacle should as well. They COULD easily win this debate by stopping services. When the .gov backs down from their plans, they go back to work. I don't think it would take 48hrs for the politicians to fold like a cheap suit.
They did not realize it was just a photo op for Obambi and those Doctors did not get to bring up their objections!

In New York there are already unions for doctors.
Have seen them take to the streets on strike.

One of the prime objectives of unions is to unionize health care and government workers.
Most union jobs in competitive industries have been shredded.
It appears at this point that the POTUS is a communist crypto-muslim who is hell bent of nationalizing as many industries as possible and securing defeat for Amerika in all foreign wars.

“The leadership at Doctors for America is made up of nearly the same roster of men and women who, in 2008, were the leadership of “Doctors for Obama” in 2008. Common names are Vivek Murthy, MD MBA, Mandy Krauthamer, MD MPH, Nikhil Wagle, MD, Alex Blum, MD, and Jay Bhatt, DO MPH.”
Also, not only did Dr. Nuckols discover that the Center for American Progress funds the group, as indicated in Ben Smith’s article, but also that Dr. Murthy’s bio is posted on CAP’s website.
And that May 4 conference call? Well, here’s what Project Vote had to say: “Center for American Progress Media Conference Call With Senator Max Baucus (D-MT); John Podesta, President And CEO, Center for American Progress Action Fund; Dr. Vivek Murthy, M.D., President and Co-Founder, Doctors for America.”
Yes. There’s more. It seems that Dr. Vivek H. Murthy is a Soros Fellow, 1998-2001, of The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships For New Americans.
So. Here we have it. Doctors for Obama/America, Center for American Progress, John Podesta, Dr. Alice Chen, Dr. Vivek Murthy, and George Soros’ elder brother, Paul Soros.

Well I don’t know about you but I’m supporting the healthcare bill because of all those doctors wearing white lab coats along side the president. This just took it right over the top and convinced me that we need national health care. The blatant disdain and disrespect of the Amercian public is despicable.

Talk about sickening, I found a 2008 newsletter from the Soros Fellowships. This has pictures of Dr. Vivek Murthy with Paul Soros... and they are at a place called Trail’s End Camp which is only a few miles from where I live in PA.

It would be instructive to get the scoop on just how many of these "doctors" (1) have MD degrees (as opposed to D.O., O.D. , etc), (2) what are their present positions, (3) what specialties and certifications (4) and most important, currently how many patients do they see, in person, daily?).
I would also love to know how many have law degrees as well as M.D.s (or whatever).

I was amazed. This is blue state CT. More than that though is that the nurses keep away from anything which might upset. That she felt easy enough making this joke means Obama is not liked by the other patients she sees.
