Axelrod met with Roger Ailes to whine about Fox News’s non-worship of Obama

He’s got one cable news network fact-checking comedy skits about him and another running hour-long infomercials for his health-care plan.

And he still can’t stop complaining.

At a time of tension between their organizations, White House senior adviser David Axelrod met with Fox News chairman and chief executive officer Roger Ailes two weeks ago, sources tell POLITICO.

The two met privately in Manhattan during the president’s visit to the United Nations.

The two discussed news coverage and the relationship between the organizations.

An FNC spokesperson tells POLITICO that Ailes and Axelrod had a “cordial conversation” over coffee while the president was in town.

In Axelrod’s defense, so dominant is FNC these days that Red Eye’s pulling more viewers in the 25-54 range at 3 a.m. than CNN is at 8 p.m. Which I guess means the White House is better off scheduling Hillary for an interview with Pinch, the New York Times marionette, than with Campbell Brown. More whining:

Though White House aides are hesitant to criticize the network on the record, their disdain for the programming–including Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck–is clearly evident. “They are the paid political programming for a party, and occasionally a couple of news stories break out in the midst of 23 hours and 45 minutes of political rantings and opinion,” said one senior administration official. “Everything about it is one-sided political opinion directed at a base. Period.”

“Everything about it is one-sided political opinion directed at a base. Period.”

And PMSNBC and all the others are FAIR AND BALANCED?
I admit, I do not see any US TV now, but I do know that
FOX is the only one that comes even close to balanced.

“Everything about it is one-sided political opinion..."

Did the Bush admin. whine and complain about the overwhelming leftist media bias? Nope. Did it demand meetings to air its grievances with NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, PBS, the NY Times, etc.? Nope.

Obama and his people are thin-skinned, whiny bitches.

If they can’t stand up to Roger Ailes and Glen Beck, needless to say they are too weak to lead against the militant Islamists who want to kill Americans. Talk about not ready for prime time, these weaklings are an embarrassment to the nation. I hope Roger Ailes told Axleface that.

If MSNBC had an audience, the White House could care less

Thank God for Fox news. In my 70 years I can’t remember a time when the MSM was so disrespected and untrusted. Every single day on almost every single MSM channel the bias shouts out at us with no attempt to hide it. Interviews of administration officials is a joke. No one in the MSM is holding the administration accountable, no one is investigating or challenging. What in the hell has happened to the news industry? It’s pathetic! Once in awhile, just when you think someone is daring, he/she drops the ball and gets off on another soft ball track with no follow through. They don’t even bother playing devil’s advocate anymore. Stories important to all Americans are left uncovered or spun. It’s insulting to a point that I not only don’t watch MSM any longer, I’ve blacked out the channels completely on my remote so that I won’t even watch by accident.

I agree 100%. And yet Axelrod continues to whine.

I doubt Axelrod was there for a cordial conversation.

I would bet that certain implied threats were made against the News Corp. and that there might be certain gov’t investigations, audits, etc.... if they don't change their tune.

Savage said to watch Fox New closely and see if and when they change there tune towards yobama and begin reporting favorably about him.
