... the gush only grew in intensity and sweetness. CBS anchor Katie Couric said the Obamas and Oprah Winfrey were leading "Chicago's Olympic Dream Team." NBC morning anchor Natalie Morales exclaimed, "It doesn't get any better in terms of PR blitzes than this."

Here's a clue for you Katie and Natalie, having Oprah there was STOO-PID^™.

My wife & MIL have relatives in Germany, up near Hamburg in Lübeck - which is pretty close to Denmark, approx 100 miles 'as the crow flies'. After the vote was announced my MIL here in Chicago happened to talk to them. They all said, 'Who is this Oprah person?' Is she someone famous?' I don't know what Oprah said, it was irrelevant. To me and the IOC. Most of the world doesn't know who Oprah is. Too bad the clueless ego driven elitists didn't know that.

And having Michelle 'I'm not proud of America' Obama speak was just as dumb. You can't go around saying 'my country sucks', then go to an international body and beg them to hold their HUGH event there.

And ditto for the pretender-in-chief.

Oprah's show is carried at least in parts of Europe--I've seen it on TV when visiting over there (not that I had any more interest in actually watching it than when in America, but saw that it was on).

I would like to share Bozell's optimism that Obama will serve only one term. More likely the 2012 election will resemble his race for the US Senate. He's got to have a second term, or else he can't have a third and a fourth and a fifth...
