Hmm, when I wan in we were told not to wear our fatigues off base. Granted that was in the 70/80s. I could see it if it was in Afghanistan, bit this is in AF1 in a safe country.

Yup. I also know “colored” is considered a racial slur. I don’t think we should make it look like the General is thinking racist type thoughts.

I’m sorry I just don’t see the offense here. But I also know that offense is in the eye of the beholder, and I respect the opinions of others in here.

Lighten up, I'm sure he can speak for himself. But do we have to be so PC that we can't even make a joke. No where did he insinuate that one color person is any better then a different color person. So just what is your problem with it?

Really, so perhaps you can tell me just what isn't considered a racial slur these days. I have a clear conscience so I don't have to assume that anything one says is racially motivated.

Cut the country in half—civilians on our side, taliban and bad guys on the other side..keep closing the circle...Then BAM, we seize all their camels, mules and horses so they will have to walk everywhere...It worked for Napoleon in Russia, well, til winter set in...As they walk we register their guns,then take the guns away in exchange for a 5 lb bag of rice...we’ll get ‘em at the road junctures and mountain passes..Come on, i’ll show you on my sand map how i have positioned the little men and how it all worked !...We’re gonna kick some A with this plan...and we’ll be saving on ammo costs too..Whatdya think?..I knew you’d see it my way.
