so....any guesses what effect this will have for him politically? Will it neutralize his Olympic failure? Will it make him more of a hero to the left and to the lefty media? Will it give him a huge bounce in the polls and a much needed boost to his political capital in order to push through his agenda? Or will most people just scratch their heads and go “huh?” and after a day or two things will go back to where they were?
Even his defenders are struggling to MAKE THE CASE for this award (he was nominated after 10 days in office).
