Then your "doc" will have a serious lawsuit on his hands the first time one of his patients denied the vaccine dies from the swine flu... a death that could have been prevented.

Just because this doctor is refusing to administer this vaccine does not mean that they are being denied it. They can go elsewhere (for now!). I am failing to follow your logic.

Not necessarily. There are plenty of alternative sources for the vaccine - almost every pharmacy in the country will make it available. Therefore, no one who truly wants it will be denied access to the vaccine.

I also have concerns about squalene, due to autoimmune disorders being associated with it. I already have rheumatoid arthritis, and certainly don’t want anything else.

Squalene is apparently only potentially toxic when injected, as in a vaccine. When given by mouth, if I remember correctly, it is not a problem.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions.
The littlest was the sickest, but doing much better today.
The oldest doesn’t have a good immune system so I’m making a list and heading to the store. I’m going to search more on vitamin D for her, she was using a B complex for energy in the afternoon.

I was achey, tired, and feverish yesterday and I did 4 drop of the oregano oil in juice twice and I feel fine today.
I had put 4 drops under my tongue before that and it burns and taste horrible, I can tolerate it in the juice.

A jury will usually rule in favor of the injured, especially in the face of expert witnesses testifying in favor of vaccinations.

Our doc warned our husband NOT to get the H1N1 flu shot. He said “It has not been tested adequately,” and that the regular flu is stronger at this point that the Swine Flu.

My family was innoculated with the swine flu vaccine in 1976. My brother became so ill in his dorm room post vaccine that he had horrible halucinations from a very high fever. 2.5 years later, my mother was diagnosed with an aggressive case of rheumatoid arthritis. 20 years later upon receiving my first flu vaccine since 1976, I had severe tachychardia and nearly passed out. I have no way to prove the connections but I am not going to be vaccinated and neither are my children.

Actually, no I haven’t, formally! The oscillo is a homeopathic remedy which I have known about for years for flu, and every year I go and buy a fresh one “just in case”. This is the first year we have had to use it (and we used plenty!).

The Sambucol is actually something I read about here on FR back in the spring when H1N1 first hit the US, and I went out and bought some, again, “just in case”. I kept it in the fridge until the day my son got sick, then I bought another bottle and we all started taking it.

The Emergen-C is something I always have in the cabinet for times when there is anything dubious going around, we all drink it for a couple of days to boost our immune systems, but in this case (the flu), I followed the dosing recommendations of a mother in our homeschooling group who is a whiz with natural remedies , we call her (jokingly) “Doc”. She also clued us in to the powers of fresh garlic, which I had heard about from time to time, but because she recommended it, we actually tried it. It was tasty, I’ll tell you that!
Hope this helps!

I didn’t mean to rip on you for your decision. You may have had a legitimate concern to go. But just in general, I feel people are better off just not going to the doctor for colds and flu. Even if it is only a little money out of pocket (or free)- one’s time is better spent recuperating at home rather than dragging yourself to the doctor while feeling miserable, waiting amongst other sick people where you could pick something else up or spread your illness to others. And while it only cost you $20 out of pocket, rest assured the doctor got paid about $200 for 10 minutes (was it even that?) to do NOTHING for you!
