I thought the humor threads were petering out. A good one though.

I will believe Barry’s commitment to merit-pay when I see it. If he does follow through...I think it’s a good thing.

This isn’t necessarily praising his initiatives. It comes down to this:

“I am very, very encouraged, and excited that the president has taken on a core constituency of his party, which is the teachers union,”

But the determination is what are the results? Talk is cheap.

So, let’s get this straight.

0 “wins” Nobel “prize”.

It enters public consciousness massively that there is NO reason for this, NO good 0 has done.

HUGE opportunity for 0 to TANK.

And Jeb Bush comes out and is like “0 has done something”.

Yeah I think those conspiracy dudes must have been right. It’s a cabal. OK everyone, it’s time to organize militias.

reached across the aisle to praise President Obama

Wonderful. Jeb Bush-McCain for President. I love those aisle reachers.

"....In the back room afterward, Mr. Axelrod scolded Mr. Obama for not getting Mr. Bush to reach just a little bit farther, so he could get that knife all the way into his back.....Mr. McCain couldn't hide his resentment, that Mr. Bush took the knife that was meant for him...."

Notice something interesting about your posting history. You only post threads trash talking the GOP. You never take a shot at the Democrats on anything.

Curious, which Leftist propaganda outfit pays your salary? Moveon.org? Act Up? Acorn?

A contender, now, for the Nobel Across-the-aisle-reaching Compassionate-conservative Award. Can’t wait to vote for this man!

This is a Bush family disease, are we sure Snowe is not related? These reach across the aisle do gooders need to step aside. Fight fire with fire, they are the reason we are where we're at today!

I agree with Jeb.

Please. Jeb doesn't really believe that the Marxist in the White House believes in merit pay for teachers, does he? Oh, wait, he's a Bush. never mind.

The stuff aimed at Jeb is well deserved.
Yo Jeb! STFU.

There is not enough merit pay in the soros accounts in the world to improve education in State controlled schools.

And longer school years? You mean more time for propaganda indoctrination?

No way. Jeb is just as irrelevant on mis-education as his dubya was on expanding the feds control over drug coverage in health care and the all the other fuzzy wuzzy wobblie stuff with Dems he did while in office.

Argue like a Leftist, post like a Leftist, no surprise people start thinking you are another faux "Conservative" Leftist propaganda warrior.

So explain to me this. See this from a dozen or so Freepers. Never have anything to say or post but "hate the GOP" commentary on every thread.

What do you Democrats in everything but name think you accomplish spending 100% of your time shooting your own side in the back?

Sure there are problems in the GOP but you people want to throw out all the good solid ones, the Joe Wilson-Demint-Coburn-Pence-Bourn Conservatives over the side with the Rinos. Are you just this clueless that you don't realize all you are doing with these pr blasts is helping Dems?

or are you like the McCainbots where during the Bush years?

Figure if you trash talk the GOP 24-7 somehow your chosen candidate will be the only untarnished one left standing in 2012?

The president is good at education. Even if only to serve as a warning to others.

"I am very, very encouraged, and excited that the president has taken on a core constituency of his party, which is the teachers union," Bush said on MSNBC's Morning Joe.

Jeb points out that Democrats are eating each other alive and we're busy calling him a RINO because of his brother and father? Morons out in force today.

President Obama has angered teachers' unions by supporting merit pay

Merit pay(reward?bribe?) for those teachers promoting his Marxist agenda?

Obama has also called for a longer school year,

More time to properly indoctrinate the children?

I think Jeb Bush should quit praising and start recognizing the "evil within".

Jeb must have decided he did not want to be President and furthermore did not want anyone to ask him to be President. Thanks Jeb, you’re done.

Jeb can forget running for President after this .... Amazing how many self-proclaimed Conservatives actually show themselves during times such as this ...
Furthermore, what the heck has Obambo done for Education??? I’ll tell you - “NOTHING”.
