I don’t agree, this is a rich country. What we have is the government siphoning off so much from businesses that they cannot hire anyone to make a profit. If you can’t make a profit, why run a business and get all the grief. Without private businesses, there is less money being moved around.

Less government, more freedom, more hiring, more pay, more ability to pay for the funeral. If the government wants to take all their money, then it should pay to bury them.

My kids used to say that to me all the time too. I had to explain that my checkbook was to pay for necessary expenses, and credit cards represented the ability to borrow from someone that would demand more back than I borrowed. I was not rich, but I was better off then that the country is now.
