John McCain, R-Ariz(:) Wont he ever shut up and get out of the way? No.
He will have to be defeated.

He will have to be defeated. And then after defeat, he will have more time for Talk Shows, and will be the favorite "senior spokesman of the right" for the driveby media.

He [McCain] will have to be defeated.
If I were to bet, seeing as how the people of SC returned Lindsey Graham to the Senate in 2008, I would bet that the people of AZ will return McCain to the Senate in 2010.
Incumbents are
nearly impossible to defeat, unless they are involved in some major scandal.
[Disclaimer: I never supported McCain before his presidental run, during his presidental run, or following his presidental run. I didn't trust him then, not his reaching across the aisle, not his various 'gangs', not his bipartisan compromising with his 'friends' in the Senate, and I don't trust him now. My posts on FR, even after he got the nomination, reflect my unchanged position regarding McCain. His assaults on the First and Second amendments were ample for me to cement my position regarding John McCain.]

No. The media will just keep dragging him back like they do with Bob Dole. It will take the Grim Reaper to het Juan out of our hair.
