So I guessing I can no longer throw away old car batteries or motor oil?
I would leave that Nation today.

Hahahaha! On my property in Kentucky I will have a 55 gallon drum with a few holes drilled in the bottom and there I will BURN my garbage, just like in the good old days. :)
I’m wondering how long until God decides that there’s not one sane person left on earth and pfffffffffft the planet.....
I can imagine those kitchen slop containers will get mighty smelly between pickups, especially in the summertime. As to the rest of it, our municipality already does much of this, and it’s not really such an inconvenience. Technically I think they can fine noncompliance, but I’ve never heard of it happening. We don’t dig through our trash, we just separate things as they are discarded. The biggest inconvenience is that we don’t have a good place to accumulate the recyclables before schlepping them out to the bin in the driveway. We have 3 bins: co-mingled recyclables, yard waste, and all the other stuff. Our township has an arrangement whereby we get points according to the weight of recyclables we put out on trash day. Points can be traded in for discounts at some local merchants. I’m not entirely convinced the economics of the whole scheme work, but I have bigger battles to fight than this one.
I highly recommend everyone watch this. It shouldn’t be too hard since it is VERY entertaining. Recycling is BS.

What you want to bet they will fine the homeowner when the street bums rifle through their trash and leave a mess.
That sound you hear in the distance is me screaming at the top of my lungs as I run down the middle of the Interstate because I’ve become stark raving mad.
Lord and the Saints preserve us!!!
What about all the perfectly good food that grocery stores have to throw away because it’s past the “federally accepted date” allowed to be sold??? Do we fine the Grocery Store or the FEDERAL AGENCY that makes up the rules?
I vote for fining the Federal Government. Lock ‘em all up.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
What are they going to do,ban garbage disposals?I`d get an industrial model just to make sure.
This insanity is coming here.
It is a crime now in NC to throw in garbage plastic bottles.
The Mayor of Raleigh, NC tried to BAN garbage disposals but was laughed at - screamed at - so loudly, he and his City Council fellow commies backed down. (but he just got re-elected as Mayor....ugh).
Soon, we will have toilet paper police and, it appears, food scrap police.
I quit recycling when the guy at the garbage dump told me it all goes to the landfill anyway. Too expensive to recycle the stuff.
Their firearms have been confiscated and they have no recourse but to submit.
These people are insane.
