If all he did was say Bible verses aloud, he is going to be a very very rich man.As it is, he will be given room and board at the local jail.
To: ColdWater
Well, the more we learn, the less this is about Bible verses. What a warped account.

First it was “Snakes on a Plane” now it’s “Freaks on a Plane”. I’m glad I don’t have to fly the airlines for work any more.

Not an accurate summary.
No indication it was even an AP summary.
Why the post?

Maybe a few dings during apprehension. I don’t think he would have made it through security looking like that.

What is that thing on his forehead? Look more like a Buddhist or Hindu sort of mark...Looks to me like a mark left from the hammer that caused his brain damage.
To: jazusamo
Agree with you 100%. Sounds like he has a few screws loose.
Whether this crackpot was reading from the daily newspaper, the Bible, or the onboard shopping catalog, he was likely the nightmare-passenger-from-hell for the other innocent travelers.

YUK...who let him on the plane to begin with?
To: PAR35
Summary of AP story: No. That was not the summary. You posted a distorted summary.
To: ColdWater
Is that right, PAR35? Am I going to have to make nice with the AJC?

So how would you summarize the story at the link? Go ahead, give it a try.

Kudos to the guys on the plane !!

OK, I’ll call.
What would your summary be of the AP story that appeared in the AJC?
Remember, no quoting.

PAR35, I can’t say that I blame you. “Disorderly conduct,” “became unruly,” and “resisting arrest” were the only other specifics. The Bible passages were unduly singled out.

Exactly saying Bible verses out loud is not becoming unruly. It sure would be nice to know what he did to prompt other passengers to subdue him.He refused to let the passenger next to him exit the row to use the restroom. That's enough for me. He needed to have his ass kicked.
