Slidell is still a nice town but we have a good number of Katrina types starting to settle here. Unfortunately we have a lot of mixed income housing being built here and we all know the types of folks that attracts. The local LEO’s are hot on them though when they get out of line.

Sorry to hear that—we lived there for a brief time about 10 years ago when my husband was stationed over at Stennis with the Navy’s Special Boat Unit. We lived over in the Ozone Woods area in a little rental house.
My brother is in N.O. now about 10 blocks from the Quarter—it will be five years in Jan.
