Fine we will agree to part.

But upon parting, I must point out three things. First, even a professor cannot demand that a research paper be cited. A research paper is only cited by those who read and use it as a source. No matter the imaginary power you feel that you wield over your imaginary studets, you cannot, “...assign research papers, and demand that they be adequately sourced, researched and cited.”

Second, you misspelled plagarism.

Third, I recognize plagarism the old fashioned way. I am familiar, and up to date with the subject matter.

And I'm sure that the student to whom I just had to give an F on his midterm progress report would love to be "imaginary," but unfortunately for him he's very real.
