If he was all that smart, he might be considering a run for Castle’s House seat and a chance to work his way up. But by all means let’s encourage him to run and get his butt kicked by Castle. Next year will be a good year to be a Republican. Maybe that would shut Joe up for a while. But probably not.
It would be an embarrassment to the Administration if he ran and lost. The press would be relentless about the implications and it could threaten Biden being on the 2012 ticket. Therefore, if the calculation is that he might lose, he will invent some reason not to run.

If lying that his first wife's death was caused by a truck driver drinking his lunch instead of by her actions hasn't been enough to shut Biden up, a monumentally horrendous lie that Biden repeated for over 30 years and ruined the man's life, I can't see where his opportunistic son's Senate loss would do it.
