So in 2004, it was being reported that Obama was born in Kenya, but now it's considered ridiculous and can't be suggested? Odd.

Obama's short form birth certificate that we see on the internet: Is there any state that will not accept Obama's COLB short form birth certificate that we see on the internet, if Obama tried to use it to get a driver's license? Thanks.

So, maybe Obama was born in Kenya, So What? MeCain was born in Panama. Both were born to citizens, so, they are citizens. I don’t get how this makes a difference.

Perhaps when we all refer to Obama, we should call him “Kenyan-born Barack Obama”. None of these newspapers ever corrected themselves on the issue, did they??

Here's a thought -- perhaps there's
more evidence from this time period. After all, the "immigrant success story" has been a perennial media favorite. You know how it goes -- poor boy from 3rd-world country comes to USA & gets elected to Congress.
In fact, the story is such a "winner" that it might even have been used in campaign materials!
Are there any Illinois Freepers that can search for old material? Just think of the impact if we could find an "Obama for Senate" brochure, in hard copy that takes this line!

Good find. Obama would never have made it to Senate but he and his gang(Axelrod) forced the courts to unseal the divorce details of his opponent.

Thank you for the post. I hope someone sends a copy of Sunday Standard to Joy Behar to bring her Obama fever down.

This is a duplicate an article posted yesterday...which is not to minimize its potential importance in the overall scheme of things.

Here is a
pdf transcript of Kenyan National Assembly on Nov 5, 2008, the day after Obama was elected. Over and over again there are references to Obama being a "son of the soil" of Kenya and a Kenyan. On page page 3275 there is this passage:
HOUSE SHOULD ADJOURN TO DISCUSS ELECTION OF MR. BARRACK OBAMA
Ms. Odhiambo: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. It is not on this issue. I stand on a point of order under Standing Order No.20 to seek leave for adjournment of the House to discuss the American presidential election results.
(Applause)
Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the President-elect, Mr. Obama, is a son of the soil of this country. Every other country in this continent is celebrating the Obama win. It is only proper and fitting that the country which he originates from should show the same excitement, pomp and colour.
Again. It is not the one thing. Rather it is the tide.
In July 2009 a Ghanian newspapersays of Obama that ""For Ghana, Obama's visit will be a celebration of another milestone in African history as it hosts the first-ever African-American president on this presidential visit to the continent of his birth,"
