Soros not part of Checketts’ Rams bid group

Billionaire investor George Soros is not part of St. Louis Blues owner Dave Checketts’ bid to buy the St. Louis Rams, unnamed sources told the SportsBusiness Journal.

News reports emerged this week suggesting that Soros was part of the bid.

Earlier this week, Checketts dropped his partner Rush Limbaugh after a growing firestorm erupted over the conservative talk-radio show host.

Soros is known for funding several left-wing causes and groups, including Moveon.org. Some of the confusion over Soros’ involvement likely emerged because former Soros fund managers run Towerbrook Financial, the hedge fund that invested with Checketts in the Blues.

members were supposed to be under a confidentiality agreement, right? Yeah sure, unless it’s a chance to bash conservatives...

Rush was surly setup. I am sure owning part of a NFL team in his home state made Rush a little blinded. He got hustled, pure and simple.

1. Checketts is a moron and a pussy. To choose a business deal over what is good vs. evil shows what kind of asshole he is.

2. Rush should have had better business sense before climbing into bed with this loser.

3. Rush should have contacted the league directly and asked for a complete clearance before getting involved financially.

Unfortunately, Rush loses all judgement when it comes to football. He was so enamored that he took that ridiculous job with ESPN which had NO where to go but south, but he just HAD to rub elbows with the stupid anchors and former jocks. His usual intuition and clarity leave him when he starts talking about football.

If you think this was bad, just wait until he judges Ms. America!! That too was a bad, bad decision to make, opening him up to more lies and smears from the left.

For a guy who has repeatedly stated that Victory is only achieved through the total and unconditional surrender of the enemy, he should undertake a scorched earth policy in court to nail these leftist creeps,........but he won't!

Why would Soros actually put his own money in a venture which:

  1. Does little to further his perverted political agenda?
  2. Caves in and gives him what he wants by merely threatening to put up his money?

Soros may be a filthy Marxist megalomaniac but didn't accumulate his billions by paying people who will do what he wants for free.
