GLBT: pronounced “giblet”.
As in,
“Giblets have been demonstrating in Washington recently.”

Our young men and women are dying in combat because of a communist government taking their money for pet projects instead of equipping and arming them properly and the gays in VA are all worked up over their "rights"??
Lemme take a nanosecond to try and work up a little concern for their rights.Who gives a good golly damn about this crap?
All of you self-serving b@$tards can go straight to hell! Deeds is done anyway. Go to hell!!!!
(sorry,really feeling really,really angry today...rant over)

That’s what I thought. This will send the remaining wavering independents running in McDonnell’s direction, especially in non-perv infested areas of Virginia.

The giblets gave Deeds just the push he was looking for. Hey Deeds, put some ice on it.

Are there perv infested areas of Virginia? Did they catch the SanFranciscoProvincetown virus too?

Northern VA is home to a large number of federal employee and other pervs. I believe that is due to the proximity to Washington, D.C., which hosts entire all perv-all the time neighborhoods around Du Pont Circle and Adams-Morgan.

To attract the best public and private employees, Virginia must be welcoming of diversity and avoid discriminatory practices. Anything else hurts employers and employees, stifles economic growth, and limits Virginias competitiveness. That is nearly verbatim how Bob answered a question in regard to this issue during the debate Monday night.

You know, I don’t care one way or the other. I am certainly not basing my vote on that issue. My original post was that I don’t think the perv endorsement will help Creigh Deeds. And that’s all want to say about it.

Avoid Du Pont Circle and Adams-Morgan.

Unfortunately, there are some excellent restaurants in those neighborhoods, too. The night to REALLY be sure to avoid Du Pont is Halloween, when all the drag queens come out in costume and they stage a “drag race,” which has them stumbling down a public street in high heels. The local TV stations cover it religiously.

I drove thru DC once on my way to FL, guess that’s it for me visiting. Oh well, I’ll get over it. :)
Thanks again for the info.

There are plenty of areas where you would feel perfectly comfortable, in particular, the sightseeing part of DC, the monuments, museums, the Capitol, the White House, Arlington Cemetery. I didn’t mean to scare you off. Those sights are really worth seeing at least once.

I can’t imagine how this will get Deeds a single vote he didn’t already have.

When I was a younger man, Du Pont was a happening place. Good times, nice ladies and the Skins were winning super bowls. Now it is a gay hook up nexus. Creepy.

Thanks for all the info.
MAYBE if there was an American administration housed in DC, I’d venture into it. But with all the light loafers and a hostile junta running things, I’ll stay away.
